Bros,... my opinion, having invested into Cache Logistics Trust and Sabana REIT previously and divested subsequently,...

The majority of the asset base looks the same - warehouses and light-industrial... rental reversion when tenancy expiry comes will be lower than previous rates.

Then the gross rental income creeps lower and lower, dragging our dpu down with it. When these attributes start to hit, the unit price suffers.

Not pouring cold water here,... just sharing my previous experiences.

The market reaction is so typically knee jerk. Big fund houses have their own reasons to sell. Retail investors may not even know why they sell besides fear mongering. The private placement price was likely set some time back. Share price trended higher in run up to announcement making the private placement discount seemed high from last traded price. On parameters including debt level, dividend yield and P/B level AIMS look prety decent. For last 3 years, their quarterly dividend hovered around the 2.5 to 2.75 cents band (ups and downs). Not sure on context of their DPU has been dropping. Anyway seemed like after moving on from post placement, it may be worthwhile to accumulate if price is below $1.38.

Remarks : I am vested and not professing to be correct or advocate for anyone to buy. My views only. Pls DYODD.   Your money, your own call.

AMP Capital Finance said Friday it ceased to be a substantial shareholder of AIMS APAC REIT after  disposing of 70.32 million units, or a direct interest of 10.09 percent, at S$1.40 each  in an off-market transaction.

The company retains a deemed interest of 1.37 percent in AIMS APAC REIT, it said in a filing to SGX.

In a separate filing, AIMS APAC Capital Holdings also said it ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the REIT after it acquired a deemed interest in the 70.32 million units and then sold them in an off-market private placement, mainly to new investors, at S$1.35 a unit.

AIMS APAC Capital Holdings retained a deemed interest of 0.42 percent of AIMS APAC REIT, the filing said.

Think dividends getting lower each year since 2016.

This stock average traded hardly reach a million.
Now, minus 70.3m placement, almost 14m done already.
Obviously is new holders selling for quick buck. This is rediculous!

Terrible, place out 70.3m shares at such low price (1.35)......almost 9% discount to last traded price of 1.48!
And suddenly so many selling at 1.37, 1.38......why?
Fast $$? No sell restriction on newly place out units?

Based on presumption of DPU maintaining at 2.5 cents per quarter, the yield would be 7.05%.

Why nobody bother about the 2 recent development?
ESR increased it' s shareholding to above 5%.
Bought over of reit management and increased in percentage owned to > 17% by George Wang.
Surely something is brewing........no???
