Hence, normal to see the price being held low first - those who has inside informarion will be accumulating prior to the release. BB usually place high volumes to ' block' early escalation. Such acts give false perception market is selling.
Once results are released - the ' fake' queues will go away allowing a smooth ride upwards.

analysts' reports can be a gd source of info since they have access to mgmt. they may also get to attend some special company events / briefings, which we retail usually don' t have the chance.
but whether buy or sell, and what price to do so, we have to determine ourselves.

If we follow analysts' call and if they are correct, then we do not need to do any research. Just follow them and get rich and just shake legs.
I remember analyst (forgotten which) recommend CB to be at 26 but still stuck at 15 to 17 cents for the longest time. The latest being IX, target price at 45 or 46 cents but staill stuck at 24 to 26 cents.
I am especially skeptical when DBS make buy or sell call....just my own opinion.....DYODD
