The Board of Directors (the Board ) of Medtecs International Corporation Limited (the Company , and together with its subsidiaries, the Group ) wishes to announce that the Company has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Medtecs USA Corporation (Medtecs USA), in Delaware, United States of America, with an initial issued and paid up share capital of US$3,000,000 divided into 1,000 ordinary shares wholly held by the Company.
The principal activities of Medtecs USA are the manufacturing and supplying of personal protective equipment and healthcare products. The incorporation of Medtecs USA was funded through internal resources and is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 31 December 2020. Ms Yang Wan Chien, who is the daughter of the Executive Chairman of the Company Mr Clement Yang Ker-Cheng and the sister of the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company Mr William Yang Weiyuan, is the sole director of Medtecs USA.
