The authorities should investigate why UOB KH is still putting MT under restrictions and Cbank for seemingly having only the sell button for trading MT shares. 😝

I disagree. All restrictions hv to be removed to be fair to all parties. It has to be purely based on supply n demand.

If I am not mistaken, Directors buy back must be before 1 month of results(otherwise is insider trading) whereas Co share buy back is anytime. Hence share buy back is a defence weapon to be executed at the appropriate time.
Besides worry about the bottom line, management hv to guard its share price too as this is the worth of the company (can be used as pledge for funds)
CEO already show confidence by buying at 925 and 105... that time many people angry cos it stays below $1 and CEO decided to buy up at 1.05.. no need to promote this counter.. i just buy quietly when contras sell at low.. HUAT!!

Where the mgt feels that its share price is way below its intrinsic value, it conducts share buyback to enhacne the value to shareholders.
Or alternatively, it gives generous dividends.
The management does not wait for shortists to drive its share price to recent lows before it provides a marker on its share value.
Talk is cheap, to act is more important.
What is recent low 80 cents? 70 cents?

| Chill bro.. longist don't invest in medtecs for just its mainboard listing.. aspen took 2 mths which is a rough guide where most of us thought would happen similarly.. while FJ Benjamin took 3 mths.. we can only make a rough guess when mainboard listing news can come up but who knows how many mths it may take..
For the share buyback, again u are harping on the same issue.. if I were the management, I probably won't conduct any share buyback unless it drops to recent low.. why throw money down the drain to benefit traders
For US production, corporate updates like this normally happen during their results release.. their US facility is not that big anyway and contributes puny revenue compare to their other non US market.. so no point to give an update on this until the next result announcement, if there are any.. what longist are more interested should be big news like govt contract for long terms earnings visibilit |
