Personally, whether it is 25 or 50bps cut is less material than fomc' s guidance or markets interpretation on rate cuts for rest of 2024 and how that might look like in 2025
Make it 100bp, huat ahh..

My chart says 1.83 target for that move. But but but ... may pull back to 1.62 before the dash. " May" only hor. So don' t get upset with me :)

Current market pricing in - 0.5% cut (67% probablility), 0.25% cut (33% probability). I think its crazy. If Fed cuts only 0.25%, then stock market might throw a tantrum and sell off. That is the real risk.

Seatrium will get cheaper loans by paying less interest from tomorrow on whether it is 25 bps or 50 bps cut. Every Fed FOMC may see the interest coming down as it is a down cycle.
