hongfok and bonvest both moving up again.
hopefully it will be hpl' s turn in the near future.
Might be insider infighting within the ongs and fus..... -)
i was thinking and if mr ong and wheelock are buying hpl at $4.05, it could mean that they see value at current prices.
if we follow the " big boys" like them, then current price levels could possibly offer a good entry price for long term investors.
or for those who are already vested, it may make good sense to just hold and wait for the potential of the company to be realised over time.
by then, hopefully we could see higher prices
haha, very soon.
about 1 more week...patience patience

LCD at 31 cents today, is almost double the initial offer of 17cents.

of course its probably due in part to mr koh' s buying interest.

so much value in such companies....

hongfok, bonvest, guocoleisure, hotel royal, hotel grand central, etc have all enjoyed nice price gains in the past few months.

If not because of this stupid offer from OBS, we should be seeing HPL price trading much higher now. For time being, everyone freezes. Look at Guocoleisure.
yes there is the possibility of a move higher once the offer is over.
just look at olam. after offer of 2.23 close, it reached a high of 2.56- about 33 cents higher or almost 15% higher.
just imagine if 15% higher from hpl' s offer price would be 4.66- which would still be below the RNAV estimate of over $5.
of course patience would be required for the value to be enhanced by mr ong and team over time

After end of June, free float excluding 68 holdings and Peter Fu is less than 18%. Those are the die hars holders from yester years. So I dont expect a lot of selling pressure. If no news from management, the stock may just drift around for a while. But we should be seeing property boom all the way to 2017. So we have yet to see the real rally for HPL.
