I am not invested into whether you know this company or not it makes no difference to me either way. My comment was only a reflection of the fact that what you said did not seem to indicate you were up to speed with where the company was at. If you are then it' s all good.

Sorry to disappoint you Sir! I am fully aware of this company. Many of its past & current very Senior C level execs are personally known to me. The overhaul as you call it has been forced and not done willingly. Enough was enough was conveyed .. the current wayang is to save face

It' s an interesting point. How much will OFI rerate relative to Olam once it is a standalone company?

Reading between the lines, the answer may lie elsewhere in that OFI may also be sold like Olam Agri was if it means this will result in the biggest return for Temasek (and the rest of us).

YibaoI      ( Date: 14-Nov-2025 12:54) Posted:

If they are on the way out then the overhaul as you term is on its way to completion. Good news to all shareholders. I just unclear if ofi will be listed or plan shelf since they selling off their assets. Might as well change company name from olam group to ofi and rebrand itself.

Your comments suggest you don' t actually know a lot about the company or what is happening within it.

If you are not aware, the company is in the process of winding itself up and Sunny is on the way out. There is no more complete overhaul than this

Shortist like this counter as no solid push factors. Share buy back only intermittent, no BB come in to support. Think management change might be good

Not forgetting that in addition to Olam Agri sale which is pending completion, it is also receiving US $633K + per day from 1 June till 31 Dec or completion, whichever is earlier. Special div is definite.

Here?s a summary of the transaction involving Olam Group Limited (?Olam?):

---

✅ What?s the deal

Olam has agreed to sell its remaining ~32.4% stake in ARISE P&L Limited (?ARISE P&L?) to Equitane DMCC for US$175 million.

The stake being sold is approximately 161.1 million ordinary shares of ARISE P&L.

The consideration represents roughly a 7% premium over the carrying value of that investment as at 31 Dec 2024 (book value ~US$164 million).

The completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions (including regulatory approvals) and is expected to take place within FY2025 (i.e., by end-2025).

---

🎯 Why it matters / rationale

This disposal aligns with Olam?s broader re-organisation plan, which involves divesting non-core assets and monetising businesses under the ?Remaining Olam Group? so as to sharpen the focus on its core food-ingredients business (Olam Food Ingredients) and return value to shareholders.

Olam noted that it does not have operational control or meaningful synergies with ARISE P&L?s operations, and thus the disposal is seen as appropriate from a strategic and value-unlocking perspective.

Financially: The sale is not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets (NTA) per share or earnings per share (EPS) for the group in the current financial year.

---

📌 Some key details & context

ARISE P&L operates ports and logistics infrastructure projects in West Africa (e.g., mineral port + general cargo port in Gabon bulk port in San Pedro, Côte d?Ivoire).

The buyer, Equitane DMCC (formerly known as the Africa Transformation & Industrialization Fund), is Dubai-based, and was established by the founding team of the ARISE group.

The transaction value in Singapore dollar terms is about S$239.0 million (at US$1 = S$1.3657) per the announcement.

---

🔍 Implications & things to watch

For investors of Olam: This shows the company is actively executing its plan to de-leverage and refocus its business. The proceeds may be used for reinvestment into higher-growth or core operations, or returned to shareholders.

Because ARISE P&L was a non-core business, the disposal might reduce diversification but improve clarity of strategic focus.

The fact that the sale is at a premium is a positive signal (i.e., Olam is not forced to dispose at a discount).

The sale is conditional and subject to regulatory approvals (from Côte d?Ivoire, Gabon etc.). Completion risk still exists.

---

If you like, I can pull together how this sale might affect Olam?s share price / valuation in Singapore (with recent analyst commentary) or compare with other recent divestments by Olam. Would you like me to do that?
