DHL was form in 1969. with a lion heart they grew and grew. constantly using alliance and new technolgy to iprove servicesand gain customers.
between 1985 to 1988 DHL doubles her customers base and 4x the shipments handled.
in 1988 Deutsche Post becomes a shareholder, in 2002 become 51% major shareholder.
hope singpost can do likewise. grow and grow to become a national treasure.
the value of goods shipments is many times that of postal. a global business is much more then a local monopoly.
it takes time in years to succeed.

dhl/toll experince is very relevant. postal experience ?postal is the one going 6 ft under and the reason for the transformations. there are enough people with tons of postal experince within singpost.
he will cost the ebitda, hopefully he can bring the tips and tricks from the best of class. and even some sales exceeeding his cost.
new ceo good or no good only time can tell. as of now. directors got, ceo got, alibaba investment got. so next?
