Sometimes when news are leaked, must include some disturbances to show the leaked news isn't a sign of insider trading. If everytime zhun, then SGX come into the picture. Also as the one before had posted even if Better posted....not sure who would believe.

Yes agree, I started buying Bank shares...Early last week, i bought 10,000 shares of OCBC at $11.41..
Alamak the next day i SOLD at $11.68, profit of $2K+ only......
BUT, OCBC keeps going up the next 2 days to $12.10 or $12.20....If i hold till $12... would make another few K...
as long as make some money ok liao.....

Yes.  Likely Singapore govt and TH want SCM to survive.  But they want the minority SHs to fund SCMs survival as much as possible.  After all, SCM is a public listed company

If i remember correctly, TH abstained during the SCI/SCM voting.  TH wanted to remain neutral and let SCI and SCM minority SHs to decide the demerger proposal

I believe TH will remain neutral in the KOM/SCM proposals.  Why shd TH favour any side?  It is right that TH remain neutral.

So those who claim that TH will favour SCM may just be wishful

Will exit this at 20c in one year time I held this for many years I will hold on for 1 more year

 

Looking at the price movement of both KC and SM over the past 2 weeks, I think it points to a more favourable outcome for KC.

The terms of the merger may reveal whether a 3rd RI for SM is imminent or it will have some breathing space.
