If the entry into STI index holds, then big funds will buy in before the changes and you will see a revaluation of the SS stock price upwards.

I think Sheng Siong will rally next week. Singaporean can' t go in malaysia shop, eat, petrol and wash car at least until 31 Dec.

Reduced my current exposure to Sheng Siong by 25%, in anticipation for Phase 3 and weakening Q3 results and redeployment to other securities.
Remaining vested due to observation that most of those i bought from and sold this to were Big Banks. Something fishy, not a pun to their fish stalls in Sheng Siong hahaha.

Is it just me or are BBs actively trading amongst themselves in this counter. It's like they just wish to achieve trading volume, though it doesn't look coordinated to me hence no room for foul play or manipulation. Its more like Bank A buys 100 lots, while Bank B sells 350 lots. But they both don't have a clue what the other is doing...
Just watch closely whether SS can scale higher tomorrow.
Wah this one i won't mind.
But i have a theory, the Big Boys are trading this counter more for helping it to achieve trading volume averages. Regardless of whether they buy/sell, these volume averages must be large enough to warrant entry into STI Index.

you' re absolutely right. I still do some purchases at Sheng Siong or NTUC. Nevertheless, my spending over there has been curtailed to 50% and another 50% goes to the online platform.
Majority in Singapore would still like to see and touch the groceries , chose and pick their items.
