I don't have any shares and I don't short but I'm waiting for 300 and below.
Why? I'm expecting poor result in next quarter. Running an airline needs plenty of dollars. Without government support, it can hardly survive.

my friend, I think you should keep your advice for yourself. From your numerous posts in this SIA thread, it appears that you have already been badly burnt beyond recognition. I hope you are still okay..
And for the past few days, you have been asking holders to Sell the mothershares. ( check your history). Hope no one is so naive to listen to you. But, eat your heart out, many already happily cashed out. Otherwise, there is also absolutely nothing wrong to keep long term, 2 years and beyond, maybe even longer to earn dividends as passive income.
Not every player is a punter.

I think when SIA and other hosptality stocks (eg Hotel REITS) prices collapsed in March - it was in the midst of a Pandemic shock and everyone thought companies will fail and people will get infected and die in droves. Now that the COVID worst case scenarios did not happen, economies are reopening, not that many people died as feared, hotels and tourism are reopening, airplanes are flying - people realise that they should not have listened to shortists and are now pricing in recovery (where prices in SG SGX are still way below the 3,300 point range earlier this year.
