In a bearish market, individual investors may choose to keep cash (do nothing). Simply no one is aware of how long the terrible market has lasted thus far.
Only Keppel Corp. is performing well this year among the stocks on my " watch list," making it evident that unless you have the expertise to identify this company, hoping that an ETF will perform well in difficult circumstances is simply impractical (because around 8% of their profit was consumed by expenditures).

Unless one has Xi' s mind-reading abilities. We can just wait and hope that nothing bad happens.
But if Xi starts the battle, it will have an impact on all nearby markets. The South China Sea and airspace will turn into a combat zone.
Singapore' s residential area will face difficulties. When that day comes, I' ll make investments in " Can food," " drinking water," " necessary medication," and holding hard cash.

Taiwan is not a country with sovereign rights. Singapore always regards as One China. The risk of boycotting Chinese is virtually zero. We are very friendly with China and largely depends on them for a lot of resources. So mai spread fear. This is very safe HK stock.

What he meant was during good time, close your eyes, etf sure win but it is not necessary in bad time.
In bad time two outcomes emerge: One, individual counter goes bankrupt is very likely, avoid individual counter. Two, choose good individual counter in bad time the recovery is faster than buying etf. I interpret that way.

This is my opinion that there is risk n high uncertainty.
War is one of them. Its already reflected in the depressed price.

Tbh i still think china is a peaceful country.
But they just need one person to go insane like Putin. Afterall it much of one party rule country. And after much provoking n maybe a one off sabotage incident things will get escalated fast.
