Yes dont fight trend n dont fight them unless u intend to hold. For me, I believe they can press down for a good while but in the event things turn, say another round of insane results, US expansion, Covid worsen they might not be able to. I get the vaccine risk but i am of the opnion, vaccine is priced in at current prices.
But I do agree with you. I think Medical n Gloves are at the Inflection Point, it will either go big down or go big up. This turns on Vaccine vs Other Good News. So my advice to STAY OUT, dont buy. dont give $$$ to CIMB, Credit Suisee. Why am I IN then? Cause I am playing with House Money and I am near the inflection point so little harm or risk to me.

imo, MT mgmt is quite prudent tbh and realistic about their growth strategies. not investing crazy money in capacities or new plants. today looks like another tech correction. this price point does look attractive to buy in.

3. Innovation/Management Talent: Go follow Medtecs Taiwan Facebook or do a deep dive into their news/videos: They have NOT been resting on their laurels and just content to make mask/ppe n get the ONE time Supernormal profit. They have done SMART masks (can wear for 1-week, no need wash) as well as they have found Product Differentiarion with Amazing Colours of Masks (not ur usual blue or green), at first I tot Colour is a Joke but i realised in Taiwan, it is a Big Hit Amongst a Mask Wearing Nation especially with the Females. Besides that, their own CoverU Gowns look really good from the slides and from checks, quality is amazing better than what they use currently in SG.
4. Besides Numbers, Expansion Plans & Strategy: US factory (if it happens, good catalyst), UK NHS, Nigeria New Market/Africa.
I am ignorig the fluctuations, I got enough exposure, I would urge ALL NOT to Buy, this is BB-corned stock, it is not going to move short term unless u want 3-10 pips Long/Short but this entails u time the market. I am not keen on 10pips, let alone 50 pips, my ave is 0.99, won' t say how many pips I am looking for but I dont have to win daily or weekly or even at all in forum, I just wait for what I believe is the inevitable. July Mask profit remain = 12m

I had mention in my previous post too, yes profit but might not be what the initial grp mention like 2x-3x.

Been away from the forum for a while, decided to come back on a Medical Big Down Day and wasn' t disappointed. Shortist, Mouth-traders Naysayers are back in full force.
1. No Longist shut down or ask Shortist to Shut Up lol: If that' s the case, then the current climate of Siwomp, Stockshort, ssw518, bwxyls brothers they all shout down, and shut the longist up. Isn' t it the SAME? When you are in the majority, evidently it would seem that you are shutting people down. I recall when we said something against shorts, we did NOT say they cannot have a view, we just wanted a Reason or Numbers to support the View.
2. Sigh, I feel for the Shortist and Mouthtraders, to Justify their Calls or I am Right or vested interest, they create news. Bro ssw518, may I ask where u find the the 30% from non mask, 70% from masks breakdown? May I also ask where u get the Q3 profit guessing?
To those reading, please see the difference. One CREATES Fake News/Numbers to Achieve an Objective or just to Mouth-Trade, whilst the Longist point to Real Facts and Numbers n Guidance by Management.
3. I am going to address the Bros individually
Bxwyl (forget ur nick): I know you sold high and want to buy back at 1.00x to make another round say 1.00 to 1.20x. I think this is a Fair Position so if im you, I also want MT down and can make times. Good trader! That said, one thing I learnt over the years and months is Karma and be a Good Person. It is easy to fall intro the trap of anting to sell high, n once u sell pray n cheer it keeps going down so you can feel shiokshiok or can buy back lower. That' s ur right. But for me, after i sell, I sincerely do hope the next person makes $$. It' s not really a Zero-Sum game in life though some say in stock market it is but this is ur life, if it makes u feel happier, good for you.
Stockshort: Actually, bro I do follow some of ur calls, find it interesting since Rex days and u give very decent read of the direction of the market, know CS/CIMB plays too. My question though is I do hope you are actually shorting or benefitting from MTs going down from 1.98 to 0.975 then 1.33 to 1.12. I am not against anyone of expressing himself in a forum like this. Stock market is a place where someone' s gain is another' s loss. When one bought the share, he would like it to go up. When one sold the share, he would want it to go down. This is normal.

Today' s SGX main gainers are all the counters that would rise back up in a no-COVID situation.
Odd sentiments. Despite the number of cases in Singapore is at an all-time low, but COVID is definitely here to stay and there is still no positive news from the vaccine front. BBs are really killing all the retailers with their swing.
