issue RMB1.5 billion (US$224 million

. The issuance comprises three-year tenor bonds priced
at 3.12% per annum and five-year tenor bonds priced at 3.58% per annum. Proceeds will be
used for the repayment of existing debt and to fund business growth in China.
GLP closing price 1.90, market cap 8.90B
Vibrant closing price 0.42, market cap 232M.
Vibrant is issuing 1B bond if successfully launched, we will feel happy (& humble).
Singapore Zoo has 2 pandas - not so easy to get them haha.

人 民 幣 國 債 登 陸 倫 敦 ， 就 是 對 香 港 這 個 人 民 幣 離 岸 中 心 響 起 警 號 。 自 2009年 開 始 ， 財 政 部 每 年 都 在 香 港 發 行 人 民 幣 國 債 ， 而 且 &ldquo 只 此 一 家 、 並 無 分 店 &rdquo ， 此 前 香 港 是 財 政 部 唯 一 發 行 離 岸 人 民 幣 國 債 的 地 區 ， 不 過 ， 隨 著 財 政 部 發 行 人 民 幣 國 債 對 倫 敦 開 放 ， 香 港 從 此 喪 失 這 方 面 的 獨 家 地 位 。
倫 敦 作 為 全 球 最 重 要 的 國 際 金 融 中 心 和 最 大 外 匯 交 易 市 場 ， 中 國 在 加 快 人 民 幣 國 際 化 步 伐 和 推 進 跨 境 人 民 幣 業 務 方 面 ， 對 倫 敦 作 出 政 策 傾 斜 實 是 無 可 厚 非 。 早 於 2014年 ， 國 家 開 發 銀 行 便 在 倫 敦 發 行 20億 元 人 民 幣 債 券 。 去 年 10月 ， 人 民 銀 行 更 在 倫 敦 發 行 50億 元 人 民 幣 央 行 票 據 。
這 是 人 民 銀 行 首 次 在 離 岸 市 場 發 行 以 人 民 幣 計 價 的 央 票 ， 也 是 落 實 第 7次 中 英 財 金 對 話 的 成 果 ， 明 顯 地 有 著 國 家 行 為 的 色 彩 ， 香 港 未 能 獲 得 此 殊 榮 亦 不 足 為 怪 。
不 僅 是 倫 敦 ， 香 港 另 一 競 爭 對 手 新 加 坡 ， 在 發 展 跨 境 人 民 幣 業 務 方 面 ， 也 顯 得 比 香 港 積 極 ， 新 加 坡 企 業 將 發 行 熊 貓 債 券 ， 而 香 港 在 這 方 面 仍 交 白 卷 。
據 悉 ， 去 年 11月 國 家 主 席 習 近 平 訪 問 新 加 坡 時 ， 兩 國 決 定 大 力 推 進 中 新 （ 重 慶 ） 戰 略 性 互 聯 互 通 示 範 項 目 （ 簡 稱 中 新 重 慶 項 目 ） ， 其 中 包 括 在 金 融 創 新 合 作 領 域 的 開 放 。
剛 閉 幕 的 中 國 （ 重 慶 ） 國 際 投 資 暨 全 球 採 購 會 便 傳 來 消 息 ， 新 加 坡 輝 聯 集 團 將 在 中 國 發 行 10億 元 人 民 幣 的 熊 貓 債 券 。 這 標 誌 著 中 新 重 慶 專 案 在 金 融 創 新 合 作 領 域 取 得 新 突 破 。
港 人 幣 存 款 首 季 收 縮 逾 一 成
所 謂 熊 貓 債 券 ， 是 指 多 邊 金 融 機 構 在 中 國 內 地 發 行 的 人 民 幣 債 券 ， 其 後 人 民 銀 行 將 發 行 熊 貓 債 券 放 寬 至 大 型 銀 行 等 國 際 金 融 機 構 ， 最 新 則 是 境 外 企 業 ， 而 迄 今 還 未 有 香 港 企 業 在 內 地 發 行 熊 貓 債 券 。
無 論 以 人 民 幣 資 金 池 規 模 ， 發 行 點 心 債 （ 在 香 港 發 行 以 人 民 幣 計 價 的 債 券 ） 的 數 量 ， 以 至 跨 境 人 民 幣 的 貿 易 結 算 和 支 付 ， 香 港 都 是 當 之 無 愧 的 全 球 最 重 要 的 人 民 幣 離 岸 中 心 。
不 過 ， 因 著 人 民 幣 的 貶 值 ， 香 港 在 這 3方 面 的 業 務 都 有 不 同 程 度 的 收 縮 ， 以 人 民 幣 存 款 為 例 ， 截 至 今 年 3月 底 為 7,594億 元 ， 不 僅 比 2月 底 的 8,039億 元 減 少 5.5%， 更 比 去 年 底 的 8,511億 元 減 少 10.8%， 即 一 季 度 人 民 幣 存 款 減 少 917億 元 。
在 發 展 離 岸 人 民 幣 業 務 方 面 ， 香 港 極 具 優 勢 又 如 何 ， 倘 若 香 港 同 倫 敦 和 新 加 坡 上 演 一 場 龜 兔 賽 跑 ， 最 後 一 定 會 感 受 到 溫 水 煮 蛙 的 滋 味 了 ！ （ 余 木 / hket）
At 42 cents is still cheap, if you divide by 5, it is around 8.04 cents the previous price before the 5 to 1 consolidation.
But the propose dividend is lower this time round as they are conserving cash and pay down the debts.

Volumes were very low when they collect between 33-39 cents.... To sell all now without losses...they need to push harder..... Grab some if u still have some spare coffee money.
Agree. I was presenting data to my boss a while ago. Usually we use contracted rate and did not benchmark against oils price. Last 12 months, oil price dropped but the contracted price remain the same... Service providers squeeze their sub contractor due to poor market condition, they claim lack of foreign manpower resulted in their inability to drop price. Just imagine the extra margin that they will earn??just take a quick look at the financial report on these service providers..... Next 6-12 months will be even better.....
Transportation and freight services are good business, profitable too. So if the price is undervalued, there will be some party interested to take it private, as always.

It' s taking a break with low volume. Believed it' s profit taking.
Unlikely to privatise. Co is still talking to some banks in China on underwriting Panda Bond to raise money (Pl refer to Co' s recent announcement in SGX website). Suspect got some plans in China. Again my 2 cts.......... DYDD
