Initially i thought KOP will become the next Centurion Global which also RTO via Sinobest tech. From 28c it went to 50c quickly..Also Han was invested the same way in Centurion and KOP.. Not sure whether to take up position and wait
 
If u believe in OCC, then i think $0.10 is a good buy. Reporters say until got dragon got phoneix but share price doesnt reflect the strength of OCC. All time low.. Btw KOP is like the sister of Lian Beng, KSH and Centurion.

But depends on what kind of patience u have.. 2018 is not too long later.. But seems like not much news on this project even though they said end of 2014 will commence

disney shanghai cost US4.4bil and their' s cost US2.....so the scale is huge

Most businessman pledge their shares to financial institutions to get loans. Many do not declare while some like ONG, Leny & KOPG are frank to declare it. That is their personal matters. The Scorpio bldg is mainly meant for industrial use and they do not need such a big bldg to house their mostly office workers. In fact they should rent or sold it. I don' t see too much problem in the AR report till date. Only things is there is hardly any news of any oncoming project or development (Winterland) or resort hotel acquisition and their share have drop by about 50%. Hardly like YuuZoo where there are plentiful news of potential billion dollars earnings. Vested a small sum.

they r using KOP shares to raise money to tie them over as they still have 20-30 units of unsold Ritz apt
But this got nothing to do with KOP anymore....as we sold our share of Ritz to Royce at some profit last year.   the transaction here in effect is a personal transation for ONG & Leny to raise funds to keep Ritz rolling...so they can offload at better price when eco recover later
Indeed their accounts are very messed up.. I read their financial report also feel messed up somewhere.

i am quite sure this is what they have done.
They bgt 30 strata title ...so far they sold only 10-1,11-2,19-1,19-2   or 13.33%
They still have 26 strata title or 87% of it.....so yes they are still in prudential
This is a very lucrative deal for them....paid approx 512m....potential to make 110-120 mil...23% return
financing cost is neglible because prudential tower is 100% tenanted
even if they cannot sell all the remaining 26units....the tenancy rate is at 8-10 psf now vs the 7-8 psf when most of the lease was signed.
 
This investment is a no brainer for them
