I buy Suntec reit mainly because of their endemic strategy which I can' t figure out how they are doing to do it? I myself also don' t know how is it possible

IMO, Suntec is quite undervalued and overlooked
Because of the uncertainties brought about by the covid developments and Suntec is amongst the hardest hit REITs
Maybe only doing slightly better than hospitality REITs
So when others are looking for opportunities to invest, they turned to semiconductors, fintech, healthcare etc
As these are some of those that benefitted the most from the pandemic, highest chance to turn a profit in the shortest time
I would say Suntec is a mid to longer term investment for it to see real profits
And that would mean seeing life returning to a greater normalcy
If not really free to keep monitoring and doing frequent trading, this is a good stock to buy and throw under the pillow
Just keep collecting the dividends, take it out once in a while to look at the share price and put it back under the pillow again
If free to keep monitoring and keep trading, semiconductor seems to be one of the trending sectors now
So every now and then I buy and throw under the pillow, and to me anything below $1.50 is a good buy for this counter
That will be my personal take, DYODD though

suntec reit is having  a very narrow range bound of 1.44 to 1.47 for  long time.

With global covid cases increasing, daily local covid cases also on the recent uprise... and the high gearing.. i will take a back seat for now.. there are plenty of better reits around to choose from.. in my humble opinion...

As the government pushes for the domestic reopening, it is going to have a lot of positive impact on Suntec
50% of employees can return to workplace - Suntec has office leasing
Anticipated increased footfall to shopping malls - Suntec has retail leasing
Increased pax to 1000  for events, eg. exhibitions - Suntec has a Convention & Exhibition Centre which can benefit from this
One of the few to stay green despite market down
Should see it hit 1.5 series soon, maybe by end of this week or next week

us gov want to raise more money for the infra build the last thing they need is a market crash the pump will be able to get as much cash they need.

remember if they can they will keep it low as us gov borrow a lot. with fed printing to fill the need and at the 10,20,30 years debt they will keep it low for as long as possible. as that will keep their
interest pay on debt lower. those expiring 30 years are in the range of 8%+ so one can see how much they are saving. although debt amt goes up but rate come down so net interest pay may not go up so much.
so all in, my guess they will managed the market not to crash. minor correct 5% think possible.
there has already minor minor correction along the way. until they get their cash for the budget

I just want make a few thousand out of this suntec reit and sell. US stock market looking frightening like anytime will go into correction. Every one percent is a thousand plus. Just go up a few percent i want to sell already
