and take a closer look at the latest info about Aptt.
Current Aptt has become very different from the Aptt of the past.
It is now focused on keeping up with the latest tech
as well as lowering its debt and gearing asap.
All good moves for a bright future ahead.

Ya, agree this is a new opportunity for a new group of investors.
Aptt is already doing its best to prepare for a future of 5G and IoT.
So it' s no longer in the " sunset industry" category anymore.
All we retail investors can do is wait for this mystery selling storm to pass.

You can have a look at Aptt' s SGX announcement on 14 Nov 2018, pg 4:
" To support the debt management programme, the Board has taken
a two-year view on the distribution level. The distribution is expected
to be 1.20 cents per unit for 2019 and 2020, subject to no material
changes in planning assumptions."
Previously it was 1.625c per quarter per unit, or 6.5c per year.
Caught many off-guard. Even analysts.
Remember it was big news back then.
Although old news, you know how we humans can be like
when it comes to holding grudges. Like the saying:
" Want to seek revenge wait 10 years also not late."

Did not find the info on DPU sliced - please share the link, bro.
However - dividend payout has been consistently high 10.48% in 2020 and 2.38% for 1Q 2021, this is what REITS investors looking for. [Ref: dividend.sg]
Best part is that some funds are now selling at discounts, IMO 0.104 is lowest in APTT history.
From BT, IMO a good sign :
APTT noted that its premium digital cable TV and broadband subscribers have been steadily increasing for the past 10 quarters. For the three months ended Sept 30, it added about 10,000 premium digital cable TV subscribers and 2,000 broadband subscribers, which more than offset basic cable TV churn, APTT said.

My wild guess is Aptt made a lot of " enemies"
when it sliced dpu from 6.5c to 1.2c.
Also no money to defend itself with buybacks
so can bully and bully.
