Believe the only reason that prompted the CEO to buy is because he knew the intrinsic value of the company he runs , he himself knows that it is the right price to buy now.

It' s because the price was pumped up so high to an extent every low is cheap and thus avg down. I would do the same if i continue to be stuck in pandemic era mindset. Ask yourself what' s next when next phase is endemic follow by normalcy. How many new customers are they going to get, how big is the company market shares? Would customers save costs and lower down their inventories? How many newcomers to compete with them?
Without pandemic, the company also earning profit, hence that pre pandemic price was the gauge by market..
after this whole thing stabilise with a more powerful vaccines which may handle future variants, would theirs orders be reduced? Ask yourself these questions from RS and customers stance.
The main question is what' s next after this pandemic(this will end eventually unless you don' t have faith in the medical field).

tritonyeah6666      ( Date: 10-Dec-2021 20:05) Posted:

Actually, 1 question to ask ourselves - fundamentally are the 2 businesses really in opposite camp? if gloves company out of.business, let's say to the extreme case all closed down, really the economy will recover better or faster? I think in actual fact it is not. Medical consumables will help accelerate the recovery. It is the speculative play/trade that create this opposite camp situation. To the extent that many that buy travel, Banos & REITs stocks so much so stuck with the idea that if medical don't go down their travel, bank & REITs cannot go up. Thus many talk down the stocks. Btw, I am vested in both cam

He bought because he saw value . If he is so childish , he won't be successful in running a business which earns billions and still growing so strongly.

Good try you all. At least Mr. Wong reply positively.
Many companies boss just don't bother with shareholders opinion.
One of the sign to consider for longer term investment for me at least

shareholders are thankful for Mr Wong to buy back.
Despite Top Glove posting very weak results, Rs is doing buy back and this shows both companies have different models and Mr Wong is leading by example to show confidence
On behalf of minority shareholders we are thankful to Mr Wong&hellip &hellip

Recent drop in Riverstone' s share price present buying opportunity!
Today, Mr Wong, CEO purchased 300,000 shares $182,000 via open market is a gesture of the company share price is undervalued and the company remain positive on the fundamental with a strong management team!
The demand for healthcare and high quality cleanroom gloves segments to remain strong outlook on consumption growth in developing countries.
i am looking forward to company' s next generous dividend payout to be declared soon.

Agreed. RS glossly oversold hence Weng needs to tell all investors with action.
Cash so much lying in the company and they are still making so much every qtr due to their focus on cleanroom gloves.
Good to scoop bit by bit and take in the huge dividend. Cheers.

Anticipate will have a few more buying from the boss. Its all about timing to tackle negative sentiment.
If daily rise by even 1 pip, will put off shortist from shorting daily.

Look at his average pricing, he bought at morning when the price open higher rather than catching the low in the afternoon. My gratitude to Mr. Wong T his attitude.
As a shareholder I appreciate that.
