Not a contra player...just that I want to " pull out" as much money as possible ( but I do not sell at a loss) before a global stock meltdown....
I guess it is too premature for a financial Armageddon as Dow Jones has gone up 100+ points..... If Dow does manage to stay green till end of trading hour, then Valuetronics would be trading between 25.5 cents and 26 cents tomorrow...Haiz

I also made the same mistake... I bought at 23.5 cents and sold at 26 cents....Then I went in for second round and bought at 24.5 cents last week and sold at 25 cents today...regret..should have hold...
Tea u did not anyhow jump in but u anyhow jump out. U should know the behaviour of vhl very well. not the first time u are buying right? aiya, nvm lah, try again next time lor:-D i thot it would go lower ard 23c on mon but it did not.

Valuetronics is an integrated electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, offering a competitive and broad combination of design, engineering, and manufacturing services, particularly for white goods. It also has an exclusive license to use the “Whirlpool”, “Maytag” and “Amana” brands for a range of home comfort appliances in the North American market. For its financial year ended 31 Mar 2012, it reported a 36.8% year-on-year jump in 4QFY12 net profit to HK$38.4m on the back of a 14.2% increase in revenue to HK$607.2m. Sequentially, revenue fell slightly by 1.6% but net profit rose 22.0%. Total dividends declared for FY2012 was 17 HK cents, which includes a one-cent special dividend. This is the highest dividend since its IPO in Mar 2007. Based on its recent stock price of 25.5 cents, the stock has a dividend yield of 11%. OCBC Investment Research has a ‘Buy’ call on Valuetronics with fair value pegged at 31.5 cents.

STI drop, this nvr drop. When STI gain, this one may not follow sometime. Dunno why I feel this way. But it is good to have its own behaviour. Of course, the chances of crepping up in higher. Its dividend announcement(date) should be ard the corner. I like this for its yield.

My personal view on this (means what I will do): Keep accumulating on dip. Hold mid to long term for its wonderful yield and potential high capital gain. Cheers!

yes i agree with you...will do so... and pray all goes well for all our stocks ...IA...
If I were in your position, I will hold on for longer term for the seek of high yield payout. Very painful to cut loss every now and then.

Per daily chart Valuetronics is trading abv 50/100/200D MV as of current price $0.245, where as Technics (5CQ) is trading below 50/100/200D MV as of current price $0.855. Valuetronic will have better support as compared. Nevertheless, is good to stay sideline and monitor the situation first.
As for me, I am still waiting to buy more of Valuetronics at lower price.
yah lah must be mine...haiz...selll this stock my technics go down... really sian... anyway...both oso got dividend coming...i holding technics nis av px at 90.5... valuetronics seems to be strong in this turbulent moment.... however...there isnit any crazy selling down across the board...u notice?
