highly unlikely unless lippo group is in need of cash. furthermore, it is lippo group' s largest listed property vehicle, and being the main vehicle, it wouldnt make sense for a delistment. unlike in capmallsasia, it is a sub vehicle and by amalgamating both vehicles tgt (capmallsasia and capitaland), the so-called holding company discount on capitaland is significantly reduced on a larger entity basis (with more profits accrueing to shareholders of capitalnd rather than non-controlling shareholder interest).

i would see more sound and attractive acquisitions that would catalyse the stock rather than a buyout. that being said, you may have to wait patiently. their quarter results hasnt been impressive with continuous target price downgrades despite continuing Buy calls by analyst.

Capitaland offers to take CapitaMalls private... hope Lippo will do the same and offers to take OUE private at 25% premium too :-p

DB revises TP down to $2.64 (from $2.74), after the group completed its distribution in specie. House maintains Buy with capital deployment such as its recent JV with Lippo and Caesars Entertainment in South Korea upside catalysts.

May i ask what is the transaction cost for selling odd lot under poem, and is there any difference between selling under unit share and normal selling? If so, what are the differences.

Overseas Union Enterprise

(OUE SP, LJ3) uobkh

Technical BUY with +8.4% potential return

Last price: S$2.24

BUY with a target price of S$2.43 as the stock

may rebound should there be a follow-through

of the inverted hammer pattern formed during

the last trading session. The stock has formed

an immediate support level at S$2.22 and its

14-day Stochastics looks poised to form a

bullish crossover. Watch to see if it could move

out of its oversold region. Protective stops

could be placed at S$2.18.

Our institutional research has a fundamental

BUY with a target price of S$2.80.

UE Hospitality Trust - Another safe bet
Written By Stock Fanatic on Monday, March 31, 2014 |

&bull Revitalised hospitality and retail asset located right in the heart of Singapore&rsquo s famous Orchard Road

&bull High fixed income component offers solid downside protection and income resilience
&bull Opportunity to tap into bustling Changi Airport with Sponsor ROFR

&bull Initiate coverage with BUY, TP S$0.95

Bedrock assets in Orchard Road
OUE Hospitality Trust&rsquo s (OUE HT) portfolio comprises two revitalised assets in the heart of Orchard Road worth S$1.76bn &ndash the landmark Mandarin Orchard Singapore with 1,077 rooms, and Mandarin Gallery, which was birthed of a S$200m renovation of the hotel in 2009, and sports 152m of scarce Orchard Road frontage. The Trust offers investors exposure to a diversified hospitality and retail play in Singapore&rsquo s most expansive and frequently-visited shopping destination.

High fixed income component guarantees minimum yield of 4.5-4.7%
67-70% of OUE HT&rsquo s topline is derived from visible, recurring income streams - Mandarin Gallery&rsquo s revenue stream from retail leases, and Mandarin Orchard&rsquo s minimum fixed rent component, altogether guarantee recurring revenue of at least S$80m p.a, translating to a base DPU yield of 4.5-4.7% at current prices. This provides high income visibility and downside protection to investors.

Sponsor ROFR
In the Sponsor&rsquo s Right of First Refusal (ROFR) is Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, a 320-room transit hotel in Changi Airport. If acquired, it could boost the Trust&rsquo s portfolio room count by 30% and give the Trust an opportunity to benefit from the government&rsquo s plans to expand Changi Airport and increase passenger traffic.
Technical Analysis
Daily Chart
Initiate coverage with BUY, TP S$0.95
We initiate coverage with a DCF-backed TP of S$0.95 assuming WACC of 7%, after tax cost of debt of 2.5% and risk-free rate of 2.7%, implying a total return of 20%.

Key risk would be the Trust&rsquo s ability to mitigate impact from incoming hotel supply in 2014. (Read Report)

What is the reason of price falling? Is it because its going to be a long term investment project that people doesn't have the patient to wait?
