1) Will the share price drop to $3 tomorrow when opening price?

You should subscribe. The reason is very simple.
You come out $3.00, and can sell it immediately above $3.00.

Issue Price at $3: This means that you need to pay $3 per rights share in order to convert the rights into shares. The exercise deadline is on 28 May 2020, 5pm. If you hold the shares in a custodian account, your broker may set a deadline earlier than 28 May. So take note of the timing. You have to pay for the rights via ATM if you hold the rights in CDP and transfer the money to your brokerage account if the rights are held under custody.

I am not an expert, but if I were you, I would.
Even if you sell all your holdings now, albeit at a loss, if you convert back exactly the same quantity, you would have saved about 80 cents per share.
Think about it....

I am not an expert, but if I were you, I would.
Even if you sell all your holdings now, albeit at a loss, if you convert back exactly the same quantity, you would have saved about 80 cents per share.
Think about it....

i was lucky .. i just handed the hot potatoes to the BB at 3.83
Can. BBs now pump, then hold, then hand over the hot potatoes. The whole process will be completed by 8 Jun.

I am inclined to agree this looks like a bear trap.
1) just notice temasek or the BB released their CFD short position today or yesterday. Previously all CFD shorts position were locked up preventing any meaningful drop in price.
2) after collecting all the cfd shorts, today last hours trade was classic bear trap squeeze pattern. Bs push it up to squeezed the weak hands and create a bullish candle stick for tomorrow trade.
My take is Shortlist should be brave now when others are fearful. Chances are BB will watch US airline stock performance before deciding push or dump . It is not enough to know your strength, you must know the enemy as well
For buyer /investors, dont get sway by emotion. what is the hurry ....just stay put til the 8 billion dollars additional stocks hit the market on 8 June. SIA planes or stocks is not flying anywhere for the moment

Many shorted SIA due to the rights issue.. as reported recently.
Once rights are exercised, the shorts will unwind as reversal has started since this week.. can see SIA going back 4xx v soon.. Dyodd and huat.

Everyone know that airlines industry is bad, is down, is doom.
However, how much the doomsayers expect the SIA down , it is already down so much from the estimated diluted price, still keep painting the negative view , sigh ~
