Ok, since after it offered. Jumbo closed on it 2nd day at 0.320 cents. It opened (2nd day) @0.335c, hit a low of 0.310c.

Jumbo may bring another chance to go long, if it hit lower, as this is let by market players expectation. So let market decide how best it want it to be....whether is up or down.

Jumbo Group, which runs a chain of seafood restaurants, has launched its initial public offering (IPO) to raise about S$22 million through a listing on the Catalist board. It is offering a total of 88.23 million shares at 25 cents.

Jumbo Grp Limited - Balloted Results

Jumbo announced its placement IPO offered shares was 8x over subscribed and the 2m public tranche was 300x over-subscribed. (Very hot-chilly crab) so it can be alot difficult to get, many can be disappointed.

Jumbo indeed is very chilly-hot... Looking at the two big funded, Cornerstone Investor, the like of Termasek n Osim paid for at $0.25cents (no discount) n list of institutional investors. It is also 8x over subscribed..

Retail of 2m public offering is indeed even hotter. Lucky for those who got, (only to have sufficient headcount for listing, together with institutional support...Huat huat argh...:))

Investors are mainly reputable "long only" asset mgrs such as Fidelity, Lion Global and Nikko. It bode well for Jumbo.

As for public investors, as Investors who apply for 50 lots will get a 3:99 chance and be allocated 8,000 shrs. Thank your lucky stars. Those who you can get it.

I am expecting a nice big bang on coming Monday  .

HappyiJumboing :)

They did not say going to pay the subsidiaries' conditional interim dividends to Jumbo Holding Shareholders, they only say the Jumbo subsidiaries will pay dividends to Jumbo Holding after 5 days of trading - IPO. Shareholders still need to wait depending on their dividend policies and year end financial results

the paying out of the interim dividend to existing shareholders few days after trading debut seems like a somewhat good strategy for the owners but probably not so for IPO subscribers?
