Bro guards80, this dividend is a mere formality. It was already proposed by the company last Nov if i don't remember wrongly. But if Jumbo huat tmr I will be more than happy.

Maybe people are expecting very good quarterly results.
I read the Jumbo Q1 presentation. No surprise announcement leh. The planned expansion of outlets in China btw 2017 - 2019 is not news. Why stock rally today?

My view is they are being prudent. Expanding too fast may not be a good thing. Hopefully they are profitable in the next 4 quarters. Tomorrow is AGM and Q1 annoucement. It is very late compared to the last 4Q reporting. Should be something brewing there. Anyone guess is as goog as mine. Hope they have a stelllar Q1 performance. Cheers longist.
jumbo should open in more asia countries.. they love it. Restuarants in china are so pack that if you dont book in advance, you are better off not trying to Q.

I vaguely recalled management saying some time ago that it is going to open more restaurants in China this year?
Vietnam franchise is a bonus. But I am waiting for news of opening of more outlets in Shanghai, including Beijing franchise....From the Dianping website, it appears that the Jumbo brand is receiving good response from Chinese consumers.
