In interviews with the Financial Times and CNBC, Moderna' s CEO, Sté phane Bancel, predicted that the current vaccines are likely to be " less effective against the emerging Omicron variant. Speaking to the Financial Times he said, " There is no world, I think, where [the effectiveness] is the same level ... we had with [the] Delta [variant]."
According to CNBC, " Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel on Monday said it will take months to develop and ship a vaccine that specifically targets the omicron variant of the virus that causes Covid-19." He told CBS News, " we don' t know what we don' t know."

I think the whole COVID situation will just go on for a long time. Medical supplies are going to be required be it Omicron or what. Hospital staff will continue to be full clad with PPE for a long long time. But i dont expect MT to get super profits like 2020. The production capacity of the world has caught up. The prices of PPE have drop significantly since the days of under supply. Costs are all going up, esp shipping costs have gone up like a few X. Can quite clearly see the impact from MT' s financials.
MT tends to be whacked and oversold. Will buy it back again for a long term hold or for another boost from a new variant at close to 30 cents. That said, i wish all holders here to still huat from this counter.
