Will STI cheong thru 3000 convincingly this time?

 

The problem with having a fixed price and waiting for that price to be reached is that you will buy at that price or plus minus near
that price which in your example is 2.88 and end up missing the chance to buy at 2.80 ......2.70.....2.60 or even 2.50.
Why I say that?
Remember the lesson we learnt from Mamasan' s rise from 2.51 to 3.51 ?
Remember when she U-Turned from 2.51 to reach 3.00.... then 3.20.... then 3.30....and so on.... and many of our bros and siss
sold along the way and only very few managed to hold on long enough to see 3.51... remember?
I had said then that only those who were NOT looking to sell OR those who' s target price was much higher like 3.60...3.70...3.80 etc
will hold on to their scrips long enough to see the price reached 3.51 and then lao hong. As long as you are looking to sell and your
target price is lower, say 3.00...3.05...3.10...3.20....3.30...... once the price has reached you, you will tend to sell. Especially at the
1st sign of retreat or wekaness. Coz naturally, you scared that the market will take back your profits mah. And it wasnt a straight line
up from 2.51 to 3.51. The price did retrace by around 20 cts when on the way up. And to give up 20 cts of your profits back to the
market is #@!$%^& . How can !!! So once your TP is reached or approaching, at the 1st sign of weakness, you will sell. Even those
who managed to survive a couple of deep pullbacks and lived long enough to see 3.30 to sell.... would have missed another 21 cts
of upmove. That' s what it will be like when you have given yourself a TP to sell. Any more substantial upmove above your TP...if it
happens, you will miss. The 2 bros who managed to LOON DONT SELL the longest were Bro Bystander and Bro TikTok. I think Bro
rotijal also had Mamasan but he didnt hold as long as Bystander and TikTok. Bro Bystander was able to LOON so long becoz he 
just stood aside and do the bystander thingy. Bro TikTok was able to also LOON so long becoz he was busy watching TikTok videos. 

So likewise when a stock is falling and you fix a TP to buy, when your price is reached, you will buy plus minus from that price. And
you will miss the chance to buy lower if there is anymore downside.

I mean KJG is as good as the others la....and I also mean dont know how to describe the differents too...

i got so much less $$$$, just bought dots at 2.94.

$58 per kg for the sliced pork version.
Pre-CNY was $54.

Fragrance is also selling at same price.
But just now when I was out, I saw their Loose Bak Kwa on sale at $19 per 500 gms or $12 per 300 gms.
I think normal price is $28.80 per 600 gms. Which is $4.80 per 100 gms.
Without promotion, 500 gm = $24.00 and 300 gms = $14.40.
I received 1 kg of Fragrance Bak Kwa as a gift during CNY and I was surprised that the taste has improved quite alot.
Coz the last time I ate their Bak Kwa, it tasted like medicine. But call it prejudice or whatever, I still prefer the taste of Bee Cheng Hiang.
For me to be persuaded to choose Fragrance over Bee Cheng Hiang, the price difference must be at least $10 for a 500 gms pack.

Normally the owner of a business wont do this as it will be like undercutting his own franchisees.
Then he wont get people wanting to be his franchisees ler.
Imagine Old Chang Kee sells his signature curry puff to franchisees at $1.00 each and then they also sell at $1.00 at their
factory outlet, people who live nearby the factory outlet or want to buy in bulk will order from the factory outlet. That' s unfair
to all the OCK franchisees. Coz the retail price for a signature curry puff original (called " Curry-O" ) is now $1.60.

Personally i find BCH seasoning least frangrant amongst the branded bak kwa. LCG and the few KIMS generally all taste better.

Low 1.45 on 11th Septeber Lower low 1.06 on 15 December 2020 If we see new low then the downtrend is still intact. Moving averages: 20MA is sloping downwards meaning short term bias is still for lower prices Below 200MA (1.52) is not good from a longer term perspective, it needs to close above this level, together with the recent high of 1.59 one can say that  these two levels will be of significant thus keep an eye on it in determing its longer term outlook. Above based on daily charts, and the weekly charts also looks weakly for now. Cheers
