Today she opened at 2.93 and traded up to 2.94 : 2.95.
Didnt Dow rally more than +500 pts on Fri ?
Then how come she still cannot break above 2.95 to reach 3.00 ?
Why she cant hold on to her gains and at least maintain at 2.94 : 2.95 ?
Some more can retreat to now 2.92 : 2.93. Why ?
Becoz there is still selling.
Whoever has a SELL order to fill is exploiting Friday' s rally to sell at higher prices to whoever wants to buy.
The selling is quite measured. This seller is not in a hurry to sell. Hence he can wait for buyers to appear at
2.92 to 2.95 and he distributes to them. What happens from here will depend on two things. The first is how
many more shares he has to sell to fill his SELL order and the second is timeline. If his client suddenly says
to sell by this week no matter what, then this broker will no longer has the luxury of time to slowly sell at 2.92
to 2.95. He will have to speed things up abit and that' s when we may see 2.90 breaks. Another factor is whether
Dow suddenly goes into a correction. If that should happen, more sellers (other than the current seller) will
appear to throw to escape the selldown. Then we re-examine the situation and reassess. But fear not if it
happens. Becoz history has shown again and again that all market crises are triple confirmed, on hindsight,
a buying opportunity. So fear not if a correction comes. Fear only that you have already used up all your
bullets and have no more ammo to scoop at the bottom.

Market Watch All eyes on rising Treasury yields amid inflation fears

08 March 2021
The Straits Times
Market volatility to continue US inflation data for February to be closely watched
Equity markets continued to be roiled last week by rising United States rates and fears that inflationary pressures are building up.
With the 10-year Treasury yield briefly hitting 1.62 per cent mid-week before retracing to 1.577 on Friday, there is nervousness over whether the  Federal Reserve  will taper its balance sheet.
It remains to be seen if the strong February job numbers, announced on Friday, will add to inflation expectations, though 9.5 million Americans still remain out of work and the US economy is struggling to recover.
Among the closely watched data coming this week will be last month' s US inflation numbers.
The blue chip Dow Jones index gained 563.93 points for the week to end at 31,496.30 points, while the broader S& P index gained 30.79 points during the week to close on Friday at 3,841.94 points.
Rising yields hit the tech sector the most, with the  Nasdaq  dropping 3 per cent last Wednesday, and losing 10 per cent from its record highs. But the tech-heavy index managed to end Friday' s session with a 1.5 per cent gain, though for the week it was down 272.19 points at 12,920.15 points.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) bucked the Wall Street trend, gaining 64.81 points for the week to regain its foothold above the key 3,000-point level to close out the week at 3,013.85 points.
The three banks supported the index, averaging 8 per cent gains on the back of $850 million of net institutional inflow.
As  Singapore Exchange  head of research Geoff Howie pointed out, the rotation to value stocks, such as banks, has boosted the ST Index by more than 130 points, or 4.6 per cent, over the past 10 sessions.
After being the worst performing STI stock last year,  Singapore Airlines  continued to stand out as a leading index performer this year as it benefited from a global repricing of airline stocks.
The Bloomberg World Airline Index is up 15 per cent over the past nine weeks, despite travel and tourism restrictions still firmly in place.
On the other hand, the rotation to value stocks has hit growth stocks.
" Valuations play a role in the modern-day stock market rotations as seen over the past six months, and this means the global technology sector has also been in focus," Mr Howie said.
The three most-traded tech stocks on the local bourse -  AEM Holdings, UMS Holdings and Venture Corp - have been gradually declining.
UMS and Venture are now down 2 per cent this year, more or less in line with the Bloomberg World Technology Index.
Meanwhile, Venture and AEM have been among the five stocks that have seen the most net institutional outflows over the past two weeks.
But  AEM Holdings, which reported an 85 per cent rise in net profit for its financial year 2020, remains up 11 per cent on the year.
Analysts say given how Covid-19 has hyper-fuelled digitalisation and tightened the tech cycle, this segment will recover and remain in play.
Many market insiders also believe that the recent correction puts stocks on a better footing for the next leg up.
The passing of US President Joe Biden' s US$1.9 trillion (S$2.6 trillion) stimulus Bill will likely be a catalyst for the market' s recovery.
Mr Vasu Menon, executive director for investment strategy at OCBC Bank, said  US Treasury  yields will remain a bane for markets in the short term, given the 0.9 per cent rise since the start of the year. But Fed chairman Jerome Powell remains focused on jobs, not prices, he added.
" Mr Powell said on Thursday that rising yields have caught his attention, but added that he' s not focused on yields per se but rather overall financial conditions which he says are still highly accommodative," Mr Menon noted.
" He also implied that he would be concerned if the rising yields caused disorderly markets, but he didn' t seem to think that markets are disorderly now, which means there are no strong reasons for the Fed to intervene just yet."
In short, Mr Powell seems prepared to accept that inflation will rise with the economic recovery.
That said, rising yields will continue to inject volatility into the market.
The big question is whether the Fed will address this issue at its next meeting on March 16-17.
BUY LOW SELL HIGH means sell when market is toppish.
So I suppose its the right thing to do.

The Bengawan Solo Warehouse Sale was from 10 Jan 2020 onwards.
That was before circuit breaker.
During circuit breaker, hampalang must close.
Then during Phase 2, SALES and BAZAARS and TRADE FAIRS including IT Fair and NATAS Fairs and Roadshows held at mall atriums
were all not allowed. Even now with Phase 3 reopening.... events and fairs at mall atriums are still not allowed. So I think Bengawan has
to stop holding warehouse sale and go back to being solo.

Capitaland:
Immediate support/resistance - 3.15(20ma)/3.30
Short term trend -up
other support/resistance - 3.00/3.50
This stock will consolidate with a broader range between $3 to $3.50, suggest trading within this range
for the forseeable near future.
For those vested you have a chance to either book profit near 3.30 or wait for a break above targeting near 3.50.
Those not long can consider dips best if can get near 3.07 or 3.15 I like stocks trading above its 20 and 200 ma, this one is.
Buy near support, sell near resistance with stop below support levels and resistances, adjust a few tics yourself depending
on your entry level and threshold. WYOB.
Cheers, tiktalk again.
