Current Price (even at the lowest of the day of 3.21) is not attractive to me.
Let noob sell 1st, then buy in all :)

I think it is their strategy to create liquidity. Good for us.

Its solid, otherwise largest shareholder won't buy at $9.50 & CEO+ minor of F&N won't sell at $8.80 unconditionally.

Thanks for your analysis for a newbie like me, Markie!

I actually accumulated at $3.45.
based on calculations NAV stands at 1.69 (F and N only) and   at the price I bought at $3.45, it is about 18.4x ebitda.
at the  price where it opened at  $3.27, it is actually an extremely attractive level to accumulate.
At that price,  it is only 1.93x NAV, lagging far behind other pure F & B companies such as Del Monte at 2.76x, Petra at 5.43x, Super at 4.69x and THB at 3.85x. Although it does have a publishing arm, u can add a little discount  and it is still attractively priced.
However, base on price to ebitda, it is priced at  17.41 times etbitda, slightly higher as compared to Petra at 16.9x, Super at 16.2x and DPML at 9.5x.
It is probable NAV would actually be a good benchmark to gauge the progress of this stock in future, as F and N is definitely a premium F and B stock as compared to the other comparables, with its strong presence and market leadership in ASEAN. Synergies with THB  and further capital reduction would capitalise the stock above $4. Just my 2 cents worth. Even at  $4, it is trading at 2.35x NAV.

Anybody knows how did the sellers determine this price (how much F& N is worth)? I thought will trade near " NAV" .
