The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) opened applications for additional licences to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a marine fuel in the Port of Singapore, as part of efforts to support the use of lower-emissions fuels.
Under the requirements, licensees must put in place end-to-end LNG bunkering arrangements, including securing LNG supply, demand planning, cargo transfer operations, storage and safe handling, and the sale and delivery of LNG fuel to vessels in Singapore.

YZJ Maritime invests in 16 new vessels amid maritime asset portfolio expansion push
The orders are placed with three Chinese shipyards
 
[SINGAPORE] Maritime financial solutions provider   Yangzijiang Maritime   : 8YZ -1.6% (YZJ Maritime) on Wednesday (Jan 14) announced that it placed newbuilding orders with three Chinese shipyards for a total of 16 vessels. 
 
It comprises six firm orders with an option for another 10 vessels. 
 
A newbuilding order refers to a formal contract placed by a shipowner with a shipyard to construct an entirely new vessel, such as a container ship, tanker or bulk carrier.
 
The group&rsquo s latest orders are: 
 
Two firm orders and two options for bulk carriers of around 40,000 deadweight tonnage (DWT) each. They are scheduled for delivery between Apr 28, 2027, and May 28, 2028. 
Two firm orders and six options for mid-range product tankers of around 49,800 DWT each. They are scheduled for delivery between Nov 15, 2027, and Feb 15, 2029. 
Two firm orders and two options for long-range 2 (LR2) tankers of about 114,000 DWT each. They are scheduled for delivery between Mar 30, 2028, and Sep 26, 2029. 
 
The newbuilding portfolio of the group will increase to a total of 50 vessels, including options, with this move. 
 
It comes on the back of two newbuildings being successfully delivered 34 firm newbuildings under construction, including the latest six firm orders and 14 optional newbuildings, including the latest 10 options.
 
Ren Yuanlin, executive chairman and chief executive of YZJ Maritime, said: &ldquo Our newbuilding orders will have integrated eco-features, aligning with International Maritime Organization requirements, while improving fuel efficiency and operational performance.&rdquo  
 
YZJ Maritime is a spinoff from the maritime investment segment of YZJ Financial. Similarly, YZJ Financial itself was also spun out of YZJ Shipbuilding in 2022. 
 
The maritime company debuted on the Singapore Exchange mainboard on Nov 18 last year. It had raised gross proceeds of at least S$5.2 million via a private placement of around 8.6 million fully paid ordinary shares at S$0.60 apiece.

It does not mention which shipyards. did they place one with YZJSB or    Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding, then it would be a boost for YZJ.

price correction for those interested to add. at 58 cents is lower then the placement price of60 cents.
1st fy report will show light if this is truely over under value or my estimate too optimistic.
guess combine value of yzjfh and yzjm will be about 80 cents at the low. may not reach there.
so just look at add see which one fall more then add. for the operator. they dump down then buy back. 
also make money one. long term holders has to ignore them as their cost is almost zero.
small holders advantage is buy at low price and wait for good luck. good luck if business is good 
and dividend is good. else better dump as well. i hold as i feel ren can do another spring in this
new martime business.

no know real reason. but some market people are saying that gold and silver rapid raised has make these out size compared to other things in some fund. so there are some algo selling of these starting tomorrow. really how serious no one know. buy really so many fund adjsut where got happen in one day one. their related parties will have already sold forward and on tomorrow just let it fall and then let fund to sell and they cover. if not there is also not enough vol to let the changed happen nicely.
wait tomorrow see how. gold silver fall a lot. think may not.
