  • UBS sees slower growth, rising unemployment and disinflation to lead the Fed to cut its benchmark rate to a target range ending the year between 2.50% and 2.75%.
  • Arend Kapteyn, UBS global head of economics and strategy research, told CNBC on Tuesday that the starting conditions are &ldquo much worse now than 12 months ago,&rdquo particularly in the form of the &ldquo historically large&rdquo amount of credit that is being withdrawn from the U.S. economy.
