You had been posting all those hmpv news for quite some time and only now you realised it' s self limiting??? In some of your news posting, this was also mentioned. This goes to show you had simply reposting based on headings(hoping to mislead others) and without even reading contents yourself. Most of   these respiratory virus are self limiting and human body is capable of building immunity against it. The elders have weaker immune system and thus had always been highlighted as high risk group.

also, it' s common knowledge year end spike is due holiday travels etc etc... it' s also mentioned in the article this phenomenon is yearly...another reason for spike is increase awareness and higher screening rate. Similar to diseases such as colon cancer, increase awareness and detection also lead to higher cases.

you simply have no moral values. Posting all those news heading hoping for monetary gains. Have some sense of responsibility lah...

MOH said the infection is &ldquo self-limiting&rdquo , which means it can be resolved spontaneously, with or without specific treatment.

Better read from reliable source about the disease and understand more about it..

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22443-human-metapneumovirus-hmpv

In short, it' s just like any other seasonal influenza and this virus is nothing new and ifs common

if such news can cause price surge,, every year during winter season, all medical counter will huat until siao

Of course if this turns pandemic. It' s different story.. but if this can turn pandemic, any influenza can also turn pandemic.. what' s the odds??

for the gambler, even if low odds, they will bet...
