Apologies if I was not clear. It' s not based on receiving of monies - you are right, even if monies are not received for normal trading invoices you would still be taxed. 

Not to bore you too much, but financial assets generally falls under 4 categories, and in YZ' s case it' s " available for sale" . Fair value gains (ie revaluation gains) for AFS assets are not taxable until it is realised (ie sold off). Corporate tax computations would also seggregate the different income streams and allocate the relevant costs. So, operating income vs operating costs, other income vs the costs attributable to the other income. In any case, removing the AFS gains, the company is making losses, so no taxes to be paid. Who knows, the numbers here change so often.

The reason why there is no tax is because they don't have real profits. Bulk of their profits is from revaluing the shares in franchises. The crux of their "healthy" profits is via saying that these shareholdings are suddenly more valuable. And it seems the auditor does not agree on these calculations. Again using the same analogy i gave some time ago, i hold a toto ticket in my wallet. The next draw is 7m. Before the draw i already announce to the world that i am worth 7m. Here, yz is saying 7m. Reality is most likely zero, thougj there is an unlikely chance. IRAS does not tax based on the 7m.

Thus, showing $50m in "profit" does not mean they have $50m in the bank. Look at their cash flow statement. It gives you a good idea of where the cash really came from. I seriously doubt they would distribute as dividends - seems like they can barely get by on day to day operations.

I like your optimism, but i do think its time you trully understand what you have invested in.

Who say Yuuzoo never pay tax.  They got pay using their 1 Yuuzoo share.  But their 1 share is worth $1million.  IRAS got no change.  Bo bian.

If you look through their annual reports (if they can be trusted), they have no tax expense in p/l, no tax payment in their cash flow. Dyodd.

They are quite well known for typo erros.  They type the word " users" wrongly.  The correct word is " losers" .  So as years pass, their number of losers is lesser.  That' s the correct direction right.  They aim is to have 0 uesrs....I mean losers.....damn my keyboard.

Wow.  So modest nowadays.  Normally is 7,000,000%.  How can only 7000%.  I dont believe.  Try to under report achievement izzit.  Mei gei gei lah.  The true figure is 7,000,000,000% right?  From 0 to 1 is already indefinity liao.  0 to 2 is 2 times indefinity.  So 7,000,000,000% also under report liao.

Facebook hide in shame leh.  Twitter, hide in toilet leh.  FB, Twitter must send their marketing team to consult on how to be " suckassful" (terrible spelling here).
