RHB' s new $1-m model portfolio: Buy CAO, Global Invacom, k1, SSC, Yoma
We are also adding Global Invacom, which has been severely beaten down alongside the rout in the market. Our tech analyst Jarick Seet likes the company for its strengths as a manufacturer-cum-supplier of satellite TV and cable peripherals products. YTD, the stock is down 65% due to a series of one-off expenses (M& A expenses and write-down) and orders pushback. Our recent channel checks with its suppliers indicate that order flows are still heathy. We expect a strong 2H15 to more than offset the loss in 1H15.
We expect a strong turnaround in FY16, due to: 1) demand surge from new satellite launches 2) potential Skyware turnaround 3) cross-selling of products and 4) a new generation product. Our SGD0.45 TP (implying a FY16F P/E of 9.8x), represents 200% upside potential return from current depressed levels. The stock is trading at an ex-cash FY16 P/E of 1.6x (net cash is equivalent to about 60% of market cap). We will be buying 700,000 shares at SGD0.142.
With the company business back ontrack and together with it' s recent/lately acquired companies, good stuffs is in their ' POCKET' . Maybe share price will go much higher and stable.

with the company in net cash position and strong endorsement from Derek Goh through his investment, let' s see if the rally momentum is sustainable. hard to come by good companies in SG and when we do, it does not get appreciated...
Yeah, let' s see how high the satellite can fly to :)

Investment Analyst from RHB predicts turnaround for Global Invacom in 2016
Jarick Seet, Investment Analyst from RHB, published a report predicting a turnaround for Global Invacom in FY16 with over 100% upside potential after a difficult first half 2015.
&ldquo We initiate coverage on Global Invacom (GInva), a manufacturer cum supplier of satellite TV and cable peripherals products with a SGD0.45 TP (implying a FY16F P/E of 9.8x), representing 105% upside potential return and recommend BUY. We like Ginva as it operates in a sector with high barriers to entry and also it owns the patents to its products. We think the current price level and EPS hit rock-bottom and expect a strong turnaround in FY16, due to at least 1) demand surge from new satellite launches 2) potential Skyware turnaround 3) cross-selling of products and 4) a new generation product.&rdquo (View full report)
The statement was confirmed again the turnaround in another report focussed on the acquisition of Skyware Global by Global Invacom. (View full report)

Look at this S***, there is only one direction....
Dr Derek Goh (CEO of Serial System) bought a small amount (100k shares) at $0.1735 on average to bring his stake above 5% today. is it time to look at this counter yet?
Still goes back to investor issue, this company is a hidden gem. Once there is a solid investor (i.e. new SSH), price sure shoot up sky rocket.
doubt the company will get a new buy-back mandate in the near term. most companies only have that at the AGM. current share price presents buying opportunity for long term holders.
following the initiation from RHB, I am sure the company will similarly attract interests from other brokerages.
