I' ve just written to Oue to ask about the current average cost of its Gemdale shares & the dividends/share received so far. wyeo. 
Was reading some of the old posts for OUE, the Gemdale investment was not mentioned. OUE just increased the stake from 14.8% to 21.8%. Gemdale property is trading at HK95cts now. The 14.8% was purchased at HK54cts from what i read and the recent 7% was purchased at 88cts. And OUE received a dividend of usd12m recently from Gemdale, seems like this is one of the investment that they have that's doing well too. But i may be wrong though.

I think the mkt is presently pricing in only the 1ct normal dividend & the special of 4 to 5cts raising the price to 1.56 to 1.57.  The pricing in could be more as the sale of M.Mandarin fetched an

The three best performers out of the six by return were Mapletree Commercial Trust (29.9 per cent), CapitaLand Commercial Trust (26.9 per cent) and Frasers Commercial Trust (26 per cent).
Occupancy for Grade A office space in the core central business district (CBD) has seen a V-shaped recovery, rebounding to a healthy 95.2 per cent in the first quarter this year from the trough of 91.6 per cent in the third quarter of 2017, the report noted.
New supply for core CBD office space in Singapore is estimated at 5.33 million square feet (sq ft) between 2019 and 2022, representing an average of 1.36 million sq ft per year, 29 per cent below the 10-year average of 1.91 million sq ft, UOB Kay Hian Research added.
Likewise, in a June 21 report, Colliers International projected that rents for Grade A office buildings in the CBD will increase by 8 per cent this year and 5 per cent in 2020.

What' s going on? Oue rising 5 to 6 cts when the day isn' t over yet. This hasn' t happened before. The market must have got wind of something which people like me have no idea of.  wyeo.

Just checked the dates for the last 3 years for 2q.  Their ex-dividends dates are on 13,15 & 16 Sept., not cd dates. Their cd dates could start as early as late June or early July after they ' ve

For the past 3 years, it has been only  giving 1 cent. Usually CD around Mid-Sep or start-Oct, still got sometime.
Oue' s price is see-sawing betw. 1.49 & 1.50.  Cd it be that one of my 3.6 catalysts is about to materialise? It is the special dividend, perhaps 3cts, 5cts, 8 cts or even more from their selling
