thanks for the insight, din' t realise the prevailing trend for this counter till now! sounds like a sound investment though not sure if 33 cents might be quite a long haul from its current price..

Yes each time market conditions deteriorate u can buy at 33-33.5cts and sell at current price but FYE 31March som expect run up in late April-May..that' s why holding quite well..besides yield> 6% good to hold this counter

interesting to see volume pick up today and yesterday. from the charts, it seems like a breakout is about to take place, perhaps due to them reporting Q3 results next week?
Ya if philip is doing well valuetronics will benefit from its lighting sales to them 3rd qtr result in beg of feb soon...may cross 40cts again base on mkt momentum n sentiment..valuetronics always dropped to low 33-33.5 and then rebounded. ..strong support there
Lighting sales fell 3 percent year-on-year, as a 14 percent fall in sales of traditional incandescent bulbs outweighed a 20 percent increase sales of in high-margin LED lights. LEDs make up 37 percent of Philips lighting sales. The arm reported an operating loss of 83 million euros due to restructuring costs, but Philips said it is profitable on an underlying basis.

is time to fly...
Philips result is out.   Contribution from LED has grown y-o-y and the margin and profit for lighting is growing.   So what' s with the Kim Eng report again?
Good dividend as well... dunno how much it can chiong up
This Valuetronics quietly and steadily climb up from 33 cent base since last week
start to chiong down liao!!
Last year Chow Kok Kt also sold at 32cts then it droped a bit to a low of 30.5 b4 it shot up to a high of 59.5cts just b4 ex dividend, the run up was accelerated just sfter the AGM..hope history repeat itself
From the tabulation in the form showing % owned before n after transaction, this is easily seen.
