Seems like most of transactions are done at 8.3 today. Would continue to camp at 8.2 for the next few days and see how.

SembMarine and Bechtel tie up to build gas processing trainSembcorp Marine, via its wholly owned subsidiary Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms (SMOP), has entered a contract with Bechtel Overseas Corp. to collaborate on the module assembly for an LNG train to be built at Australia' s Pluto LNG project, the Singapore-listed company said in a filing to SGX Tuesday.

An LNG train is not, in fact, related to a railroad. It is a liquefied natural gas plant' s facility for liquefication and purification. The process allows the volume of the gas to be reduced for viable transport.

Bechtel and SMOP will create an integrated management team to handle the module assembly program, which is expected to be completed in 2024, the filing said.

Pluto LNG, operated by Woodside, is a single onshore LNG processing train located in Western Australia' s north-west region it currently processes gas from the Pluto and Xena offshore fields.

The Pluto Train 2 construction will boost the existing processing capacity by around 5 million tonnes a year, and allow third-party gas resources to be processed, the filing said.

Keppel OM/ Dyna mac got some work for the Barossa FPSO.

Sembmarine is doing the FEED for the Darodo FPSO which may be a project worth S$1- 1.5 billion when the final deal is sealed mid next year.

The Korean yards are quite busy now with their LNG carriers backlog. And they are mostly building hulls in China for their FPSO projects. With the Australia' s no China parts policy, things are going Singapore' s way.
