Valuetronics (VALUE SP): SGD0.47                                                           BUY (TP: SGD0.64)

ICE Lighting Up The Way

We brought Valuetronics on a 2-day roadshow to meet institutional clients on 23 and 25 Mar. The feedback was generally positive while key concerns still lie on the slowdown in the LED business. We have also visited its factories in Shenzhen and were impressed by its cost control and automation efforts, as well as robust production activities.  Maintain BUY and SGD0.64 TP (36% upside), as at 2.5x FY16F ex-cash P/E and forecast 8% yield, Valuetronics is still an undervalued gem.

I think it is a good buy as hk$ which is peg to US$, will increase and earning, profit and dividend will increase too.

If analysts are correct, thne the ICE sector should contribute more profit with higher marigin...

Vested little...

From RHB 25 Mar

We brought Valuetronics on a full-day roadshow yesterday to meet our institutional clients, with another planned tomorrow on the 25 of March 2015.

The feedback was generally positive and key concerns remain on whether the growth in the Industrial and Commercial Electronics (ICE) segment can exceed or make up for the slowdown from its Consumer Electronic (CE) segment, especially its LED business portion.

Management has highlighted that they are expecting double digit growth YoY from its ICE segment in FY16 just from existing customers with new products/models.

For the past 2 years, Valuetronics has gained at least 1 new customer each year that contributes to at least 3% of its revenue.

We understand that they are constantly actively trying to get new customers on board and we believe that there might be one or two in the pipeline ahead, which will add on to their ICE growth.

All-in-all ,we expect ICE to grow at least 20% in FY16.

As its ICE segment yields much higher margins, we believe that it would cover up for any decline in its CE Segment and result in a better gross margin and NPAT for FY16, just like its current FY.

We think that dividend for FY15 will be comparable to last year?s payout of HKD20cents and we can expect better dividends if they perform better than our FY15 estimates, which we believe will be highly likely from its robust production activities when we visited their factories in Shenzhen last week.

We continue to think that Valuetronics who is just trading at around 2.5x FY16 ex cash P/E, coupled with a potential 8-9% dividend yield is a undervalued gem. Maintain BUY with DCF-based TP of SGD 0.64

after hitting a high of S$0.47 recently (a fibonacci resistance level), the counter has retraced slightly to present levels. seems to be building a base before trending higher.

present valuations still look attractive and they have a fixed dividend policy so shareholders should be able to expect something decent when they report their FY results.

wow, very very nice trade! hope history repeats itself indeed!

the only downside to the counter is the unlikely event that the Philips lighting business does not list according to plans then concerns may surface again. given that they have announced plans for IPO as early as next year, this seems like an invalid worry, at least for now.

Most analysts not accurate see they predict T.P for innovalue to be 47cts a few month s ago now Innovalue 70cts.When FYE 31 March and give special dividends besides the usual dividends Valuetronics may test its new high again..last year when AGM was on in Sept 2014 I still bought at 49 cts thereabout and during th emeeting tested 50cts level and a few days later tested 59 cts high record before I sold all shares bought from 23-26,27-33 and 35-38cts all out..let' [s hope history will repeat

DMG seems to be the most bullish among the analysts who cover Valuetronics with a TP of S$0.64, Phillip Securities has a TP of S$0.50 and KGI Fraser is at S$0.57. seems like the counter is looking for a new price point to consolidate. good luck to all who are vested!
