Rex reports increased revenue and strong EBITDA in FY2023 & bull Revenue of US$207.02 million
Adjusted EBITDA* of US$93.82 million
Cash, cash equivalents, quoted investments totalled US$114.04 million as at 31 December 2023
Loss after tax of US$69.36 million, mainly due to non-cash items of US$128.30 million for goodwill impairment for the Yme Field transaction, impairment loss on oil & gas properties and exploration & evaluation assets, and depletion from produced oil and gas properties

Rex International Holding - 2023: Worse-than-expected results. Maintain SELL with a lower target price of S$0.08. (REXI SP/SELL/S$0.132/Target: S$0.08) Rex reported a large US$64m loss for 2023 with higher-than-expected depletion, and impairment of its oil & gas properties?
A high cost company.
Based on current production levels (esp with problems in Yumna fields),
profit is in doubt.
Needs new oil finds in Oman, otherwise current cash hoard may not last
very long?

Oil price no up dropped 17c lag.. oil price up& down fast ....
Oil likely to surge further tonight.. o&g counters got chance to move further up.. 😊

For last 10 years or so, STI has been ranging about between 3000-3500.
For example, in March 2014, STI was 3129.
In March 2014, DOW was about 16,000.
Today STI is still about 3100' s, DOW is about 39,000.
It seems STI will never rise above the 3000-3500 range, maybe for the next 20 years   .
