THIS weekend, ERA Singapore will launch what it says is the country' s largest virtual real estate gallery for homebuyers.
The ERA Property Weekend 2020 event on Oct 10 and 11 will feature virtual tours of more than 140 projects islandwide as well as property market insights from 14 of its industry experts.
Hosted on the ERA website, the event offers an immersive viewing experience with 360-degree detailed showcases of the housing projects. Buyers can browse through the projects online anytime during the weekend.
They can also access property information, factsheets, site or floor plans and available units, and instantly book personal appointments with ERA agents.
ERA will offer developers' discounts on selected units on the two days, in conjunction with the 10/10 Super Shopping Day. Buyers can register for a personal virtual home tour over the weekend to access these offers.
There will also be loyalty rewards totalling over S$250,000 for ERA real estate agents who cash out from their LyteMoney business wallets. These rewards include gold bars, staycations, lifestyle vouchers and cash, the agency said on Thursday.

APAC Realty reports 52%% jump in earnings for 1HFY20

APAC Realty, which runs the property agency ERA, has reported a 6% y-o-y growth in revenue to $172.8 million for 1HFY20, as it generates higher fees from helping developers launch new projects.

However, thanks to lower financing and marketing costs, the company was able to report a 52% y-o-y surge in earnings to $7.76 million.

The company plans to pay an interim dividend of 0.75 cents per share &ndash same as this time last year.

Even with the tough economic environment, the company was able to secure marketing agent mandates for 42 new resident projects totalling some 14,900 units. These projects are scheduled for launch between now till June next year.

The company believes that the negative impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on the Singapore property market will be relatively short-lived.

&ldquo Interest from local and foreign buyers will eventually return as evident in the initial demand from the market following end of the Circuit Breaker Period,&rdquo the company said, adding that Singapore is one of the top three prime real estate cities in the world, drawing especially buyers from China and Indonesia.

&ldquo However, the pace of this recovery is subject to the world overcoming Covid-19 and the health of major economies,&rdquo the company said.

FYI. Dyodd
Given the positive trend in the first 3 quarters 2019, i believe the
4th quarter results would be even better as sentiments in the property
showing improvements.
It is also quite likely that the oversea investments, mainly in Thailand and
Indonesia, should start to contribute to it' s bottomline.
The Group has one of the largest brand footprints in Asia with more than
17,300 salespersons in 643 offices across 10 countries through its ERA franchisees.
Below is a quote taken from the company' s latest press release:
&ldquo In Indonesia, ERA has a strong standing with leading developers and homeowners who recognise the Group
and its network of 6,500 sales persons for excellence in customer service and innovative project marketing.
We have demonstrated our ability to replicate and localise this offering in Indonesia with projects such as
57 Promenade and South Quarter. Following this success, we have been appointed as coordinator for 4 other
projects, including Branz @ Mega Kuningan, 1 Park Homes, Avania @ Gatot Subroto and Vasanta Innopark.
We believe that ERA Indonesia will start contributing to the Group over the next few years as the sector continues
to liberalise.

We are one of the largest home selling networks in Thailand with a sales force of more than 400 salespersons
across 22 franchisees. We have established a strong reputation and track record with leading developers in the
country having sold more than 450 new home units over the past year. This has allowed us to secure marketing
rights for 18 projects with 10,697 residential units, including notable developments such as The Line Wongsawang,
Artisan Ratchada, The Regent Orchid Talad Plu, Wyndham Garden Irin, and Chamonix,&rdquo said Mr. Chua.
