Rally coming, crossing 0.40 soon :)
Waa today union gas so strong despite broad market red. Got news coming soon?
UG signed an MOU on 17 June 2020, setting out a framework for a potential acquisition of various assets by the Group from UEC.  They are not acquiring UEC.  The announcement can be downloaded from this link (http://ir.uniongas.com.sg/attachment/2020061718031412180239_en.pdf), which outlines the rationale behind this potential acquisition and the potential growth it can contribute to UG.
Yes have same thoughts too. Today log in check stocks was surprised price push down so much. Good chance to add more. I believe coffeeshop gas demand will continue to be even stronger as they are now earning even more than pre-covid and a lot of people still have partial wfh arrangements.
Is good not to announce so soon, now can accumulate.
Not yet based on SGX announcements. Maybe today night? I don' t know.. just random guess. Anyways, I think it' s good that the price is stable and creeping up.... Not really affected by any market selldown. This counter not for contra. Just be patient and buy a bit everyday. I believe got more room to go. Earnings should be even better moving forward too.

I think union gas is going to announce CD distribution today. Hope that their earning is not just 1 off due to covid 19
These shows that BB power, either up or down
Funny..UG was up tis morning. Then suddenly drop to 0.4?? seriously why?
I thought they have business only with the local market. None of its business is going GLOBAL
Am vested. Hope good news is coming too

Today announced incorporation of subsidiary called  U-Global Pte. Ltd. for investment holding purpose (the name global sounds like used to hold some big investments). Maybe to hold the new businesses it plans to acquire? Smells like acquisition coming soon. If next few days share price is supported above 0.33 range, can start to accumulate more again. Hope good news come soon.
That' s true. They announced during Covid means that are confident. Today close up at S$0.31, TA wise looks good. I think may see some action tomorrow onwards hehe. Vested and excited. Hope everyone here gets rewarded with their patience!!

If that the case Q2 results on 13 Aug , will be very good.
If this report not got to be good, they will not phase in this hugh acquisition on 17 jun
Might be a dumb question, but anyone knows if higher/lower price of natural gas will affect union gas? E.g. Since they supply LPG, does change in natural gas price affect margins or something? Are LPG and NG both substitutes products for each other?
Waiting for their Q2 results... based on past 2 years trend, they release on around 13 Aug. My guess is it' s somewhat affected by the Covid-19 since they supply to coffeeshops but partly mitigated by residential sales. Diesel pump also impacted since most people wfh during circuit breaker. Boss mentioned in AGM they are confident of tiding through the covid-19 though... so hopefully they do better than expected. Maybe transfer pricing from LPG bottling business to distribution set more favourable rates? What do others think?
