All the corp services are provided by boardroom sevices, not the staff from manulife.
I also never expected that they are so "cock up". Thats why i waited for them to resend me the forms initially.

Do you think Manulife US REIT or HPH Trust is better?
I don' t work for them, nor am vouching for them or anything,... but just here to say  that they' ve been very efficient  to me.
Called them up, promised to send me another mail. However i never recieved again.
Luckily I called them up again before the due date, have to go down personally to send in the forms.
They are very helpful, but somehow never able to get the job done properly.

if you are a shareholder you should have received a investor pack with explanations but here you go anyway...

After you have completed all applicable fields, you have to mail it to the unit registar. If you got problem filling it up visit their office at Singapore Land Tower (they are pretty helpful will check for you) or dial  1800 238 0222.
*note: might be late in filing if you are a recipient of the upcoming dividend.

Where to get the US tax return form to file for the dividend ?
Yield shld be more attractive at USD 0.83 per unit,....the price is levelling now to what the mkt perceives as an acceptable yield.

Not sure about that but you may be right.   Anyway it is.good to have some expusore to the $US since Yellen is going to raise interest raise this year by 2 to 3 times.

GIC' s latest purchase of US office is a bullish signal that US office real estate is hot, and going to get even hotter!. Trump' s protectionist stance over manufacturing should lure more US companies to set up factories and offices in US, reversing the flow of investment capital.

Manulife is in a sweet spot right now!

" While the Federal Reserve increased interest rates by 25 basis points (" bps" ) in December 2016 and its expectation is for two to three additional increases in 2017, the REIT&rsquo s current borrowings are not impacted as all borrowings are at fixed interest rates with no refinancing required until 2019. "
Impressive results this morning !

Opinions ?
not sure about that. many times, i see events coming, but investors only react when it actually happens.

In spite of Ms Yellen' s indication in her recent  speech that rates will certainly be hiked soon, this counter, though a REIT, still ran up,... Higher interest rates don' t seem to affect this one.
Since banks like MS and Creditt Suisse are queuing to buy, this ctr should be held pretty high up,....No fear,... I think,....

Thought only banks might benefit if interest rate increases, but REITs will suffer ? At least for the short term ??

Let' s hope they increase interest rates next week. Banks and   some Reits should be attractive buys.

Hmm,... this ctr is holding strong support at USD0.82. Hopefully after rate hike, may drop a bit ofr us to go in,... after that, the year will turn over and reports of divvy payout will soon be appearing. No more chance to buy,...
