Seeing and hearing news clips on TV now about Hurricane Harvey hammering Texas and nearby states, I realized Manulife US REIT is exposed to this weather risk too. What if, in the near future, one of the office assets is damaged by such natural disasters and could not be rented out ? Will the insurance package ' guarantee our divvy payouts' ?
I feel the results are not as good as the way they have written it,... for instance,... I compared the 2Q results VS THE 1Q results, which was NOT shown in the reportingt his morning,... I took out my own materials to do the comparison. Saw the following :-
1) Income Availabel for Distribution : USD 9.987Mil in 2Q vs USD 10.413Mil in 1Q, a drop of 4%.
2) DPU : 1.58c in 2Qvs 1.65C in 1Q, a drop of 4.2%.
Is the above the beginning of dropping metrics as in the above ?

Did not retract at all today even with the additional units being issued and traded pari passu together with the existing units. So,... not all private placements are damaging to unitholders,....
The share movement in this counter is very strange. Can someone helps to provide soem insight? low volumn and very unusual pattern!

Sorry,... according to a late-evening ann' t two days ago by MUST itself, the Private Placement was done at USD 0.83,... 97,003,000 shares are to be issued in total on June 29th., raising USD 80.5 Mil for the Manager.
But one of the media said 98,500,000 units are to be issued, which is 1,500,000 units more than the number declared by MUST itself,... don' t know why the numbers differed,..... more numbers actually means further dilution,...

Hmm,.... bro, what I noticed about this REIT is, despite it being an international listing directly from the US, which should, command more attention,... there seems to be very minimal interest in it ! Not many discussions about it,... Even though something as noticeable as a Private Placement, the first one too, having been initiated, nobody discussed much about this in forums.
The Placement Shares have been over-subscribed so much that even the additional number of shares under the Placement Agmt (called the Upsize Option) need to be invoked and have been gobbled-up too within the same day. Either lots of people are falling into a deep trench furiously,... or something else,... since nobody dares to comment on this REIT. Just keeping quiet and let the rest fall into the trench, I supposed,....

I believed it will drop on Thursday morning, June 29 opening,... when the new placement units start trading side-by-side with the existing units !

At the last hour closing on Friday yesterday, institutions sold down this ctr to 0.890. Big Sell volumes,... anybody knows why?
Seems to be ' solidifying' at 0.900 now,....
If fund mgrs are gobbling-up, surely the price will rise quickly.... ??
this counter will going up slowly but surelyas fundmanagers are collecting it for return.
