I think the main shareholder loaded up before 15 dec and expected the deal to be closed. Unfortunately, it is called off with a new term sheet for another 2 months. he loaded around 88 cents on dec 15 before halt on monday.
maybe he is still buying today...

Main shareholder also load up average at 0.085 the last few days. So should be relatively good buy at 0.086 level...

True! i shall avoid this counter...

If this is the case, i think it is misleading. To put up a price -> and seek potential buyer who dont know anything about the business -> make announced as POTENTIAL DISPOSAL WITH EXCLUSIVITY -> buyer realized asti business dont worth this much, exclusivity lapsed -> continue with next buyer....

Invest1      ( Date: 19-Dec-2017 08:47) Posted:

Actually it is similar like selling your house. If you don't tell people or agents that you want to sell your house. No body will know. And also if you slightly makeover the house, you can get a better price. It is absolutely logical. If the company is lousy company, no one will also buy it. It is a willing buyer and willing seller scenario.

What you said really make sense! I was thinking how come, out of sudden so many companies out there queuing to buy ASTI business??? Now it seem like Asti packaged themselves at a price and LOOK FOR BUYERS, instead of, those buyers approach asti to buy the &ldquo priced&rdquo business!!!

So now it&rsquo s like, the previous 105m-115m deal failed. Asti lowered their price to 100m to continue approach next buyer by the middleman.....

just my guess...

Yap. The 40m is share between middle man and buyer. This is the real world. What to do.

He cannot push. He needs middle man to push and share profile. If 100m. He get 30m. No brainer.
