Bro Panda,
Go take a look at Dow chart and tell me what you think and what you see.
Do you see Dow heading towards 40000 by end-Dec 2021 or do you see her correcting towards 28000 ?
Take into account the strength of US economy...Europe and Asia.
Basically, do you see the world moving into recovery in the next 6 months or falling into a deep recession in 6 mths?
Thanks.

Bro wave, banknotes is altoghether another market. In the last few months
some old currency notes rocketed like Dow Jones, some of the better ones
went up more than 3 folds in value.  I a referring to Straits Settlements or Malaya notes
from 1900s to 1953 period. Only no chart to read their movement ar...

Sis Cucina,
If you can PM me with more detail info on this company and its management will be
greatly appreciated, because I am quite keen to re-enter this counter again as I find
it price behaviour very interesting.
Thanks.

But Boss TT... this is an expensive hobby.
Imagine collecting $10000 notes or other high denomination notes......
I kept a few pieces of the now discontinued red colour $2-dollar notes though.

To add on, if Riverstone, who is primarily a maker of clean room gloves, did not jump onto the mount wagon to ramp up
production of medical gloves to ride on the pandemic-induced surge in demand for medical gloves, would Riverstone
have become a household name ? No, it woudnt. Becoz the monkeys would then have left Riverstone alone and go
ramp up the other COVID stocks for their PUMP & DUMP routine. Riverstone would not have blasted to the Moon either.

Hello Sgvale,
Thanks for dropping by.
I have faith in our task force, only problem is do not know who will be a super spreader if any.
A portion of our population let their guard down when things were in control.
Do not see doctor earlier when sick or with symptons, dont wear their mask correctly etc..
Country with high % of vaccinations has seen a reduction of reported cases.

Sis cucina,
I can see that you are a diehard supporter and firm believer of Riverstone.
But there is one problem with this counter.
She was a nobody before COVID-19.
She rose to fame only becoz of a sudden surge in demand for medical gloves caused by the pandemic.
This sudden surge in demand for medical gloves wont be around forever.
Demand will taper off when the pandemic eases off.
Or when supply is ramped up and is on par with or exceeds demand. We can learn the lesson from mask as to what will happen to
the price of medical gloves when supply catches up with demand. Yes, I know Riverstone is also into clean room gloves but let' s face
it, how high can a company which makes clean room gloves fly to ? If this virus did not appear and there is no pandemic, today, this
company will still be unknown and unheard of even though demand for clean room gloves did rise in the last 14 months. Just like if
the sale of soft drinks did rise over the last 1 year, it will just be a rise and that' s all. It wont result in F & N blasting to the Moon the
way Riverstone did when a pandemic-induced surge in demand for medical gloves caused all glove makers, not just Riverstone, to
fly to the Moon. And we all know for a fact that all glove makers blasted to the Moon not becoz of their increased profits per se but
becoz monkeys were behind their phenomenal rise. Without the handiwork of those monkeys, their rise wouldnt have been that meteoric.
What I am trying to say is one fine day when somebody big enough, ie. who holds alot of Riverstone or a group of such big holders all
decide to cash out and relocate their funds to somewhere else, whoever retail player who is heavily invested in this stock and who is
not fast enough to react by throwing back will suffer a nasty blow to his or her capital. So for this one, I think that trading her is okay
but investing in her for the long haul is not okay. But that' s me. Dont be still in the room when the shit hits the fan. Like what is happening
to Bitcoin now. Hit an all-time high of $64863 on 13 Apr 2021. Today she is at $36273. She lost $28590 or 44.07% over the last 40 days.
Take care, Sis cucina and all the best.

Riverstone is more than medical gloves.   A very sustainable business.

Outside of trading I like cycling, walking and jogging. My other interest is in banknotes, so anyone
have the same interest can drop by to chat, this thread dont have to be strickly on trading stocks and futures.
Share with all a piece of SG $1000/- Portrait series note with auspicious serial number. Mas has announced
last year that they no longer will print this high denomination to curb money laundering, therefore if you have
a nice piece can keep. The value will not increase much if its just a random normal serial, but nice number can
fetch some premium.

Bro spidey,
Not every year the pattern is the same therefore still need to have time to monitor how
the ups/downs between May to October, but generally speaking if there is a sell-off in
October then perhaps it will be a good period to pick up stock at cheap level. Still one
must follow market and news closely, say what it October is the beginning of a bear market(1987 crash)
then cannot anyhow catch a falling knife, so cannot just follow the those financial adage blindly.
Good luck.

Keppel Corp : Daily Chart
For anyone interested in this stock...
Keppel major resistance between 5.55 to 5.68 region and I bisect its trading range into a lower range(below red arrow)
and a upper range (above green arrow).
Keppel immediate trading range is between 5.00 to 5.55 and a broader range between 4.75 to 5.55.
It must break above rsistance(5.55-5.68) then we can look for 6.00 or higher.
One can trade with above range in mind, i.e. buy near low end and sell near high end of range.
All the br*ea*st

Think you have to be watchful about the market because it seem you sold during crisis and
coming back only after it had rallied a lot and at a period where its more bumpy between May to October.
Therefore it timing out during this period may again suffer losses.
You may also want to read one of my post " Sell In May and Go Away"
Some market participants leave the market during May to October and come back in in November to participate
till April as they believe this latter period market can do better.
Good luck.
