The sellers have been well absorbed. Lets see whether the angry buyers will come in !
Many Singapore stocks are small/mid caps, easily controlled by the Chng Kays. So stock price movements frequently are managed by them. They play God. But as long as the fundamentals stay strong, there is no great danger owning the stock. Of course, dont overpay for it in the first place.

It does not seem likely to go back to 5 & 6 cents .. i will be concerned if it does, with its recent 2016 result.
I believe 8 cents will be a good catch, provided it does go back to this level.
If it is for long term investment, I will not mind entering at high 8 / low 9.
Let' s continue to watch this counter. As said, just hope it will not shot up too high for me to entry. lol

Trading wise, I have always observed that Chng Kay will try to supress share price below the round number, in which case, it is 10 cents here, if they are still in the accumulation mode.
Once the dam is broken, then they have to collect at much higher level already. So seems like we are seeing it in action now.
Currently Koh Eco is still a " penny" stock. Yesterday' s price action during the last 1 hour was affected by Blackgold violent swings.
But looking at similar companies like KSH, Hong Lian Seng, I dont expect Koh Eco to stay a sub 10 cents stock for long. In fact, I dont expect it to stay at sub-20 cents. So I am just waiting for this baby to grow up. I have already made a lot of profits from the free shares, and for those I bought between 5 and 6 cents, the price has also doubled, so I have a comfortable buffer.
For people who had a higher entry price, I won' t recommend chasing at this level. Perhaps buy on dips might still be possible.

I got a lot of free shares in Koh Eco because Koh Brothers (the parent) gave a lot of Koh Eco shares its shareholders via distribution in-specie. In fact, the new Koh Eco is the old KBE (Koh Brothers Engineering) with added capabilities in hydro engineering.

Thanks so much, junnies, for your sharing. I hv just started to observe this counter, so will need to monitor more closely to understand more.
Since current price is not expensive, and fundamental now look promising, I may just do a quick small entry today, while continue to see if I shall do more investment in it.

my own opinion on sudden spikes in volume is that BBs are paying attention and making moves. retail investors generally don' t possess sufficient funds to cause sudden spikes in volume especially for stocks with minimal coverage. for a bullish stock, this comes in the form of BBs accumulating. their annual report for 2016 yesterday was released, which perhaps caused some institution funds to pay attention.
anyway, i' ve been tracking this counter for awhile and my belief is that sudden spikes in volume indicate that BBs are paying attention, and that since BBs are price movers at least for the initial breakout or sell-off stages, it is more likely that Koh Eco will start to see coverage and activity soon. i don' t know whether the stock will go back into accumulation phase, or start trending upwards, but just the fact that BBs are paying attention makes it much more likely that this stock will start moving. i don' t think there are any technical indicators or systems that can 100% predict when a stock will breakout, but sudden spikes in volume accompanied with a surge in share price (although for Koh Eco, it sold down quite significantly in the late afternoon so its not as strong an indicator) generally signify entry of big buying demand and the loss of selling pressure.

I have been following Koh brothers for a very long time. All info is available in public domain, as long as management is trustworthy, I will keep believing in the news.

I hv tried to google more about this company but it seems that there is not much coverage.
Are u working in similar line ? Just wonder from where do u manage to gather so much info about this company? Mind to share as I am keen to know more about it.
I am also wondering why there is so much price movement today... it has suddenly moved fr 8x to 10x, but slowed down towards end of the day at 94. Is there any good news coming, or this is quite the normal price activities for this company ?
I am also quite impressed with its 2016 financial results, and am trying to assess a good entry point. Hope to get vested before the price goes up like a shooting star !
When you read the annual report, you almost can sense that the management is trying very hard not to divulge contracts secrets until awarded. My gut feel...

thanks to you lifeisgood, i watching this stock very closely. today i saw the volume suddenly spike up plus their annual report released yesterday i knew something was brewing. got in at 0.94 and averaging up at 0.99
Hope some of us here caught the explosion !
Waiting for the explosion. A few local C& E companies have already reported some contract wins from PUB over the last few days, but the JACKPOT contracts are still not announced yet. So.....
