ERA to provide Redbrick customers with proprietary tools under MOU
ERA Singapore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with independent mortgage-advisory firm Redbrick, to give Redbrick' s customers access to RealtyWatch and iERA Robo Advisor, two of the real-estate agency' s proprietary tools.Under the MOU, Redbrick' s customers will be able to use RealtyWatch to check for up-to-date property transaction information about their neighbourhood.
They may also use iERA Robo Advisor, a personalised advisory tool, within Redbrick' s website to assess their financial position and receive solutions to their property investment goals. ERA will also offer Redbrick customers updates to property launch information and promotions, as well as access to ERA' s advisers.
In return, ERA' s existing RealtyWatch VIPs will receive real-time information on interest rates and packages to finance their property. They can also seek advice on loan selection and home-protection packages from Redbrick' s mortgage advisers.
Both companies will exclusively use and promote the products and services created during the term of the MOU, while ERA will be Redbrick' s exclusive real-estate partner.
Chief executive officer of ERA Marcus Chu said the tools are designed to provide information to buyers and sellers, especially those who may not be familiar with the property market.
" It is our top priority to provide the right prop tech tools to enhance our customers' financial prudency and empower them with up-to-date information as they embark on their real-estate journey," he said.
Director of Redbrick Eugene Huang said that he was happy to work with ERA on this collaboration. " This partnership enables consumers to access unbiased, customised real-estate financing advice as well as latest information on property launches and movement in properties around the neighbourhood they are monitoring," he said.

ERA Realty promotes COO Marcus Chu to CEO
ERA Realty, a wholly-owned subsidiary of mainboard-listed APAC Realty, will be promoting its current chief operating officer (COO) Marcus Chu to chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from July 1.Mr Chu will be succeeding current CEO Jack Chua, who will continue to seek out expansion opportunities as APAC Realty' s executive chairman, said the company in a press statement.
The separation of the chairman and CEO roles is intended to enhance the company' s corporate governance, APAC Realty said in an exchange filing on Monday.
Mr Chua, who will be providing guidance to Mr Chu, said: " Marcus has played a critical role in the group' s growth and achievements and we are confident that he has the right attributes to lead and advance our strategic growth plans for Singapore and the region."
As CEO, Mr Chu will be taking over the helm of the Singapore headquarters and overseeing the business operations as well as day-to-day management of ERA Singapore.
ERA Singapore said during his 25 years in the company, Mr Chu has spearheaded ERA' s digitisation initiatives, such as its new customer relationship management tech tool, mobile application and search portals.

APAC Realty Q1 net profit more than doubles to S$7.5m
APAC Realty' s net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 more than doubled year on year to S$7.5 million, owing to revenue gains from an increase in transaction volumes in the new-home and resale segments.
This was driven mainly by local buyers, young couples and HDB upgraders amid strong global liquidity and a low-interest-rate environment, said APAC Realty in its first-quarter business update on Wednesday.
Revenue was up 70 per cent to S$153.1 million, led by an increase in new home revenue, which more than doubled to S$54.3 million. Resale and rental revenue rose 49 per cent to S$96.4 million.
APAC Realty holds the franchise rights for ERA for 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific.
Of all residential transactions here, ERA achieved a market share of 28.2 per cent, up from 27.5 per cent a year earlier. It also accounted for 32.2 per cent of new-home sales, an improvement from the 29.6 per cent over the same period last year.
This is as Singapore' s property market expanded, with transaction volumes in the primary private residential market growing 63 per cent to 3,493 units year-on-year.
The private residential resale market more than doubled to 4,607 units. The HDB resale market reported an increase of 29 per cent to 7,581 units.
As at May 11, ERA had secured marketing agent appointments for 23 projects for this year - 10 projects have been launched, with 13 more to come later this year.
The group said that it continues to take a long-term approach to its regional expansion strategy, and that Covid-19 continues to weigh heavily on the real estate markets in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
" However, the group remains positive on the long-term post-Covid-19 outlook, given the established ERA brand, strong reputation and quality sales teams on the ground," it said.
If I am not wrong they are paying twice dividend annually and at this price level it is quite worth it to get some lot and keep it for mid/long term appreciation and receive dividend as well😎
