I would agree with JessTrang! Many reasons to sell your stock but only ONE reason to buy esp in large amount. That is future potential/result must be good!

If Dr Loo were to dump in this amount of his money just to lure peanut investors like myself and causes self-harm, I give it to him & resigned myself I am the stupid gullible one.

Vested @ an avg cost of $1.10

Nearing the results might go up... there is no reason the boss keep buying if results is lousy.... seems likely the mafias   are making weak hearts to dispose the shares and call it quit..

Secret_Squirrel      ( Date: 01-Jul-2024 17:57) Posted:

Today price drop, likely because Dr Loo did not buy any shares. lol
He cannot buy any shares from now until the results released on 29 Jul 2024.
I think prices likely to drop further without his support.
Don' t know how much south it can go.lol

next Monday we will know whether Dr Loo has bought any shares yesterday as it will normally be posted on SGX the next working day. As the half year results will be announced on 29 July , directors of the company will not be about to buy the company shares during the one month period. Most likely the share price will go down without his support..

Thomson medical invested in Vietnam, Temasek in India if I remember correctly.

Dr Loo clearly believes in the long term prospects of the business and is flexing his muscles by putting his own money in the company rather than just using shareholders' money to do so. Respect

Despite the decline in profitability last year, the Group has a net cash position of $270m so that should improve going forward with the China hospitals ramping up from its gestation phase. Interesting that Dr Loo has not utilized the share buyback mandate and is instead buying almost daily

Solid of Dr Loo though - he puts money where his mouth is, that is some $30mn of his own money rather than share buyback that uses company' s cash

The raffles med has more cash on hand than total debt, and attractive cash flow yields and valuation compared to other healthcare/med plays in SG.
He already owns ~55% of the company. I hope he can take it private (fingers crossed).
