Last time the government said curb production, then last month they decided to lift the curb due to Iran war.
Their purpose of saying this is most probably they wanted higher tax. They won't do it to harm their economies

This is why I think there is a mismatch between promise and reality,
which may be lead to a lack of confidence.
Wait and see how all these play out.

ASEAN returns to using fossil fuels, backing out from net zero plan. And only plan to phasing out at the earliest 2040 and that may delay till 2050. So Geo can still enjoy the profits for at least another 15 years which is too far away from totally phasing out. And we can continue to collect bumper dividends from Q3 onwards
