STI - Weekly Chart

Question for the month of of June:
S-ipeh T-ekong I-ndeed or S-ipeh T-erok I-ndex ?

We can take comfort from the last two weeks recovery in that our local market is not turning 
down any time soon. The trend is till up.

We will have ups/downs in June, most importantly is will we see a higher high?

Even if yes, the next question is whether it can close the month on a up or down.

I like asking questions to keep check on our expectation to avoid being overly bullish or bearish,
and will help provide us with a more balance and rational approach when assessing the market at
each point in time.

You saw " helicopter view" on SickTel, and " Fei Luo" looked back about 17 months only. Still able to squeeze " blood" from SickTel using the " DJI ATM strategy" , eventhough she was on bad shape for long time. Hehehe.....

BTW, The " official" name of this " DJI ATM strategy" registered by Panda budget trade shop is.... " The TREND is your FRIEND" . Hahaha....

 

VIX - The Fear Index

Daily Chart : Dragon Fly Doji

Are we going to expect higher volatility in the near future?
If any also can be small spike or big spike, the only thing the Doji tells me
is that this VIX is not ready to go back to the pre covid lows in the low teens(+-10).
It probably going to stay around this mid-teens with occasional spike above 20s level.

Panda just asked " Fei Luo" to try the " DJI ATM strategy" on HSI Future, the results is also good... Huat Ah!

 

SINGTEL - Monthly Chart

Big Picture : The earlier it can unlock value for shareholders the sooner it can break above $2.60.
If no buyer at a price Singtel is looking for on it assets the longer it will take to break above 2.60.

Singtel had 3 major lows, 2003, 2008 and mostly recently 2020. The uptrend line connecting its
previous two lows  is still intact though violated momentarily in Oct 2020.

$2.60 was the level it broke down(red arrow) thus it will be a level it need to break up(green arrow).
Otherwise it is going to consolidation or between $2.25 to $2.60 for quite some time.

Shortists think Singtel may not be able to divest its assets thus continue to show weak result,
longists think it will find buyers to unlock value for shareholders.

In the meantime buy/sell between $2.25/2.35 to $2.55/2.60 to make some money while waiting for either event
mentioned above to happen.

I dont know how long its going to be trading inside that dotted square.

I also played with Mr Jones.
I did not plan to sell actually.
Had planned to LOON.
But she kept dropping and dropping and the picture out there was macam like bulls all bo chup and let the bears do whatever
they want and bears were running amok mauling down whoever they saw. Lidat hor, my chicken eggs will become birdshit again.
Which happened at least 2 times over the last one week. So bo pian lah...beh loon leow...I threw back some first to make a partial
redemption of Meal Vouchers to use for next week. Praise The Good Lord !!!

The lost trade was opened at incorrect entry point because of impatience.  And managed to open the other 2 trades to rescue this loss trade within 40 points tight bounded range. Overall  paper return in Green. Patience and discipline are the important factors for intraday trades.  But, Panda is quite impatience when come to intradday trade. Lost patience when the trend is up and down a bit, and move like turtle. Hahaha.....
