Volume of shorts is less than 100,000 for each of last 2 days. Quite low. Maybe the shorting is more serious today. Or maybe some are simply executing their plan to take profits after AGM. Or maybe some are selling to buy back later during this big dip.

Samudera gone case leow, jump boat
Cannot break 1.09 last few days. Contra caught from 1.00-1.09, good opportunities for shorties since nothing much from EGM & global sentiment bad. Have to suck thumb and wait for XD
looks to me like there is some deliberate shorting going on. looking at the market depth.

omy, got caught in this ship. hope it will rebound quickly. 7 trading days to xd, hope it doesn' t get bashed further.
Maybe some were expecting a detailed update on how well the company had done in Q1 or will do for H1. I think no prudent management would say more than what they already said in the FY2021 results report unless they have finalised figures.
If they are expanding the tanker business, they expect tanker demand to be still good for many years. Anyway, they need to renew their fleet?

Nothing much on a virtual AGM. Other than those announced new built containers, only takeaway is Samudera working on expansion of its tanker business. Thoughout the session, the chairman and CEO are all serious and not smiling. Perhaps if they smile heartedly, the share price will rise. At the minimum, the meeting will not be so monotonous.
Samudera seems to drop after the AGM ended. Anything happened at the AGM?
The supply chain issues will not be solved so quickly. Likely due to fear, driven by big falls in major markets. Fear that growth will fall too quickly leading to big drop in demand and freight rates.

Can somebody update key info from the ongoing AGM/EGM? I could not get the webcast to play though I could log in.
Looks like someone trying to create fear to push the price down..and buy in big before ex-date. Not sure if my logic make sense.
Samudera and RS both with more than 10 cents dividend, challenging each other at 0.99-0.995
Samudera will likely go back up at least a few cents within a few days. Those interested in earning kopi money can play during this dip. But I think a better counter to play for kopi money is YZJSB.

Time to jeep Samudera 0.995 big time
Will Samudera cheong back to 1.10 since Bumitama has also cheong back from 0.815 to 0.71 and now back to 0.79. Keeping fingers crossed. Hope today is shortists nightmare.
I suppose it is healthy to see some profit taking, especially with major markets dropping due to rate hike and China lockdowns. Think this year will be especially volatile, with big swings each time the Fed increases interest rate, and other major events.
