This is probably one of the boldest cheap skate offer - only abt 35% of NAV. Sg retail investors all taken for a ride. Who' s bothered abt what rubbish rules comin' up. In fact, I am speculating something more sinister - why did the px start sliding from ard 40c ard Jan 18 to abt 19c? Was it ' engineered' downwards in preparation for the offer. In other words, did they start working on this more than one yr ago already?

Given the length of the trading halt, I suspect the announcement would be a major one. Let's hope it's a GO 🙂
The way it is being managed is unbelievable. Totally no information made to the retail investors.

We don't know how fierce the negotiations and fights were going on behind the scene but the long term supporters who bought in because they wanted to support the founder now already don't have him to turn to. |

many company choose privatisation when the share price depressed for long so they can offer as low as possible.

What made you think that what I said can make people chiong to buy GAR and that if people buy GAR at 315/320 they will suffer huge losses?

you r absolute right about this point that if it is m& a then GAR should be halted too.
that is y in the 1st place its impossible to be M& A, only privatisation is on the card

But div likely to be minimal due to losses. Anyway, px already went up 30% over last 3-4 sessions.
